Bought a blanket for my granddaughter that she didn't like the material on after we unpacked it and showed her. Put the packaging back on and went to the returns desk a few days later to get our money back. The clerk sniffed it and said"we won't take back blankets if they've been washed" . I said well good thing we didn't wash it then. She said "clearly you have ...I can smell it. The blanket had never been out of the cab of my truck so it definitely was not washed. The clerk then opened it up to check for static and called a coworker over that backed her up pointing out since it had no static it had to have been washed. I told them again it hadn't. So embarrassing all over a crappy $10 blanket!! She finally said "we will refund you just this once but do not try to return a blanket that has been washed again". Don't worry lady, I wont ever buy from jysk again. You just walked a long time customer out the door for the last time. Never been treated this awful in a store before and have been in the retail business for 40 years myself and seen it all. Honestly jysk train your people on how not to treat the customer like a criminal or help them find a different career!! The only reason you got two stars is your staff member Don is a good guy.

Has good collection of bedding and furniture fixtures 👌 helpful staff and affordable price 👍

I just purchased a new desk and chair from JYSK. The chair is great, however I did run into an issue with the desk. A single piece was 'incorrect'. There was no threading on a piece that needed it, so I called them up, and the lady on the other line held the last desk they had so I could replace the piece that was faulty. It was just a half hour trip back there, and I now have a fully functioning desk. Flaws will always happen, but how they're dealt with really defines the quality of the store. JYSK gets 'Two thumbs up' from me! (Keep up the great work!)

I would give no stars if that's possible. Bought a bed few months ago. Waited a month to get it. Had to call 3 times and they didn't keep the promise that it will be available the following week. Stopped shopping here. I went back last week to check their anniversary sale. Bought an item which in my opinion defective in design. Took it back but they refused to exchange as apparently it's a final sale. NEVER SHOPPING HERE IN MY LIFETIME. Enough is enough!

This store offers a mix of almost any type of furnishing you need for a house. They do not offer any cleaning or personal hygiene but do offer couches, towels, and outdoor supplies. I love the staff here! they were the most helpful set of people that I have come across in a store in Canada. The best part is the staff were all over the store when I needed something there was someone there to help.
