Passport Health Carlington Ottawa Travel Clinic

The service I received from Passport Health was incredible, both prior to and during my trip to Guatemala. Shelby, the travel nurse assigned to us, was absolutely fantastic- the trip planned was a surprise for my partner's 30th birthday, and she was able to provide him with all of the information that he needed to make informed decisions about vaccinations without revealing the specific destination of our trip. Moreover, Shelby provided me with substantial information about rabies during my pre-trip visit, and as a result, I was more informed about how to react upon receiving a bite from a dog during our trip. Upon receipt of the bite, I called Passport Health for information about seeking treatment, and they responded promptly and with much care, which enabled me to get in contact with a trusted Doctor in the area who was able to prescribe treatment. The dedication of both Shelby and Beatrix in responding to my situation allowed me to make empowered decisions and to get the help I needed in a foreign country, making a scary situation much more manageable. Could not recommend them more for their excellent service and care. Thank you Shelby and Beatrix!

Our experience with the Passport Health on Carling has been amazing. In particular, Nicole, went above and beyond to make our experience great. She was very friendly, approachable, responsive and knowledgeable. We will definitely go back for all future travel needs. My kids loved her too! She helped my eldest daughter prepare for an 11 month service trip around the world as well as get the rest of the family ready for a bit of oversees travel. Highly recommend and felt a lot better traveling knowing we had the right advice and immunizations.

Quick and Easy. Got my immunizations with no fuss. The staff were very accommodating when I forgot my immunization record and scheduled me in first thing the next morning to update my paperwork. Calm, courtesy and knowledgeable. Didn't try to push anything onto me, just showed me some extra options and let me decide what was best. I will be visiting them in the future if I need further vaccinations. My only criticism is that the office didn't look "unpacked". It made me feel a little nervous for the first 5 minutes. Maybe I am used to seeing offices like this on TV that my expectation didn't meet reality.

I was really impressed by the quality of service I received at the clinic. The RN had prepared a detailed information booklet before my appointment and was thorough in ensuring that I was receiving all the necessary pills and vaccinations for my trip. I have a fear of shots and the RN was compassionate and ensured I was feeling well before leaving the clinic. This went above my expectations for the consultation and I would recommend the clinic to any traveller.

I recently had a visit to the Passport Health Carlington Ottawa Travel Clinic. I found the professional there very helpful, informative and supportive as I moved through my concerns about my upcoming travel. She was very thorough in explaining what vaccines I would need, what things to watch out for, and how I would use any medication, preventatives. I came away being much more informed than when I went in. I was also given an updated health card and a health portfolio, including information about the vaccines and possible side effects. As well, there is information about other vaccines included in the portfolio. I even received a discount for completing a health information form online prior to my visit. Overall, I would give this clinic an excellent rating. My questions were answered and my vaccines taken care of in a timely and professional manner.
