We called-in last minute for an " 8" Chocolate Hazelnut" Cake for my brother's birthday and picked it up that afternoon. We were blown away with the quality, and taste of the cake itself, as well as the friendly and personable service.
We ended up getting a Chicken Pot Pie while in store and it was great, also.
Definalty get what you pay for at this bakery.👍

Delicious food with lots tasty treats to enjoy. The best part is all the food is gluten free and has a cafe area. Mom is eating Black Forest Cake and Russian teacakes.

Nice small gluten free bakery on Cornwall. I would love to see more vegan items, especially desserts.

Gorgeous, yummy, lots and lots delicious treats from gluten and dairy problems. But I went there with my whole family and everyone found a dish and a desert that was enjoyed by all!

This was my first time having gluten-free, so I thought maybe it was just not for me; however, before writing this, I made sure to try other gluten-free pastries elsewhere that were delicious, so I don't think that's the case. I'm chalking my experience up to coming in during an off-hour on a non-busy day, so maybe the food wasn't very fresh? Everything was reheated after being kept wrapped up in the counter display case, and there was no telling how long it had been there.
I ordered a mushroom crepe, multiple quiches, a sausage roll, a slice of citrus cake, and a coffee.
I think if I had only had the mushroom crepe and coffee, I would rate this four stars, because these two were very tasty, even if they weren't good value. It's a bit odd, though, when you're at a bakery and the only good menu items you had were the ones that involved no baking.
While everything presented well, the meat pie dough had a tasteless, dry, crumbly texture which overshadowed the good-looking filling, which, unfortunately, wasn't particularly flavourful either. The quiche crusts were pasty and seemed under-cooked (see picture of quiche crust below). The sausage roll was the same story, with the rather pasty crust overshadowing the juices of the cocktail sausage inside. The lemon pie was bland as well.
In any case, I tried enough different menu items during my visit that I likely won't go back.
