Breka Bakery & Café (Davie)

Food was delicious and price was reasonable but I do believe the service can be improved. One of the employees working on the desserts side seemed like she was rushing people. I understand that this is a very popular cafe and that it was pretty busy when we visited, but the employee seemed pretty annoyed. The customer ahead of me started ordering and every time they asked for one item, the employee said “anything else?” Not just once or twice, but every time the customer added something. The customer ordered over 5 items. When it was my turn to order, I waited for an employee to help me. The same employee mentioned above was the only one near my section. She was packing another order so it’s reasonable that she couldn’t take my order but nobody else was willing to take my order. I was standing there for about 3 minutes until I asked an employee if I could order. Other than these, I have no other complaints. I just wish that the service can be improved.

This is my first time visiting this bakery, and I ended up coming for three consecutive days. I was satisfied each time! The most impressive item was the cinnamon pecan cake—it was absolutely delicious! The staff are all very nice, service is quick, and even when it’s busy, the wait isn’t too long!

There is a wide selection of pastries and desserts, and what I got was delicious. I do wish there were more options for less-fancy flavor combinations. I like more straight-forward/traditional flavors, and I found most of the options to be a little more bold - which is not bad at all, just not my preference. Everything looked delicious though, and if I had a more adventurous palate, I definitely would have tried more.

Ordered food and drinks. Both food and drinks tasted amazing but after repeatedly asking for extra hot latte I got a lukewarm one. I understand it was busy but call my number as soon as coffee is made.its very popular place so be prepared to wait

Just the best place in downtown Vancouver!! So much variety in sweet and savoury, cozy fun cafe. Tried their pistachio donut and coconut mango mousse. Both were super delicious! It’s one of the go to places where you get good food and peace of mind. It sounds expensive but it’s quite affordable.
