Breka Bakery & Café (Davie)

Everything looked so good it took me a while to order. I wish I was a local. I haven't heard london fog donuts before so I had to try. My partner also wanted to try so we share it. We both liked it, but pistachio donut was even better! They told me it's one of the popular ones. They're open 24/7. Awesome. I so hope they open one where we live someday!!

This bakery has a real charm—a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a perfect spot to unwind and chat. The service here is consistently friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant experience. They offer a diverse selection of pastries, so there’s something to suit every taste. I particularly enjoyed their red velvet cake; it’s moist and rich, topped with a smooth cream cheese frosting. While I’m not a fan of the chocolate chunks in the layer, I still really enjoyed the flavor of the red velvet. The café latte is another highlight—creamy with a strong, bold espresso kick that really stands out. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to relax, chat, enjoy great service, a varied pastry selection, and excellent coffee.

Stopped by Breka as it was one of the few late night dessert spots that I could find. Decent selection of items to choose from. Went with the chocolate mousse cake slice because how can you go wrong with chocolate? Or so I thought. It was too heavy for my liking, especially with the large portion size. But I guess it was reasonable for its price. Seating was quite packed, but fortunately we got a table. Next time, I would come with the intention of sharing with friends rather than ordering something for each person.

Their coffee was also top-notch—smooth and satisfying.nnThe pastries are reasonably priced and incredibly tempting. I tried the Tuxedo Truffle and Granola Cookies, and both were delightful in their own way. The truffle was rich and indulgent, while the cookies had the perfect crunch.nnOverall, Breka Bakery is a great spot for a quick bite or a cozy coffee break. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I visit Vancouver

The food was delish. Nice portion sizes so I had leftovers. I had a white chocolate blueberry scone and a sweet bacon and chicken panini the panini has jalapenos baked right in so this was a very balanced flavor. The mocha was perfect not overly strong or sweet. Also noticed that they are open 24/7 and right around the corner so I'll be back to satisfy some late night sweet treat cravings for sure.
