Breka Bakery & Café (Davie)

Amazing café and bakery overall. Every pastry we tried tasted incredible, clearly fresh and made with care. The coffee was smooth, flavorful, and only $4.50, fully customizable too, which honestly feels like a steal these days. The kataifi croissant was next level perfectly crispy, rich and absolutely delicious. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality you’re getting.I just wish they had a Toronto location because this would easily become a regular spot for me. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Good place to sit and work/read. The iced dark mocha was very milky, could barely taste the espresso. Sausage roll was a good snack. The leche donut was good but it was way too sweet I couldn’t finish half of it.

It was packed due to the World Cup festivities downtown and there was a line up. However they were organized and had good customer service. The wait was short despite the lineup. The quality and packaging of the desert was great and made my sister-in-law feel special on her birthday. They even sold candles!Always a good place to pickup quality desserts.

I ordered 2 GF peanut butter cookies, a GF macaroon and a GF cheesecake on Uber Eats. I received a cheesecake and an egg salad sandwich. I know that accidents happen, but considering I only ordered gluten free items, the mistake of sending me a sandwich containing gluten shouldn’t happen. I ordered because I didn’t want to leave my house and unfortunately ended up having to walk to breka to get them to give me the correct items since I was hungry. I will say, though, that the man at the counter who helped me was very friendly and apologetic. I appreciate the help but hope that this doesn’t happen again in the future!

Breka Bakery & Cafe has an impressive selection of pastries, cakes, and baked goods—everything in the display case looked absolutely delicious and made it difficult to choose.nnWe ended up trying the raspberry lychee dessert. While it looked beautiful, it was a bit overpriced for what it was. The taste was okay, but nothing particularly memorable or special. That said, the variety and presentation of the bakery items were excellent, and I'd be interested in trying some of their other offerings on a future visit.
