Breka Bakery & Cafe

We enjoyed a quick bite here and had the chipotle chicken and bacon pocket. My husband had the French toast breakfast sandwich. The pickle wedge was a nice surprise to balance out my puff pastry pocket. Odd with the French toast but that’s okay, we like pickles in our family lol. The coffee was good according to my husband. My dark hot chocolate was a bit too sweet but perhaps I could have adjusted it. It was extra hot as requested.nnNever heard of a 24/7 bakery before but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and cleanliness of the seating. we came around 9:35am on a Thursday and there was a line right up to the door. Finding seating was not too difficult. Other patrons seem like nice folk too. One offered us the booth seating that became available when they saw we had a baby, which was very kind of them. We ended up taking the tall chairs by the window as it was easier for us and provided a nice view of the little plaza outside.nnI’d like to try the pastries next time!

One of my favourite spots to grab coffee and especially pastries. Really nice place to chill, get some work done, or just hang out with friends. Prices are reasonable and the fact they’re open 24/7 is a huge plus!

Favourite favourite favourite!nI was in Vancouver for 4 days and went there everyday. The range of baked goods, pastries, cookies, savoury treats was amazing.nThe lines at 11pm were outside the door. Absolutely loved and thoroughly enjoyed!

Tried the cookies and cake at Breka in Vancouver and they were both so good! The cookies were soft and flavorful, while the cake was moist and not overly sweet—just the right balance. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying, definitely a great spot to grab dessert any time of the day.
