P'tit Frère Dumpling

We were 4 people on a Saturday night and had a great meal. My friend ordered a veggie soup and after seeing how beautiful it looked I had to order it too. It was delicious! We got the veggie dumplings and chicken dumplings and they were great. The restaurant was accommodating with my peanut allergy.Food: 5/5

So this is my favourite dumpling place in Montreal. You’d understand why I’m totally baffled as to why, two orders in a row now, the amount of sauce they put in the containers feels like a literal prank? I don’t understand what’s happening but it’s not great.

We came here as a group of four. They received us 30 minutes before their closure. We enjoyed that the service was fast, flexible and with no frills. The dumpling options were not bad, but also nothing exceptional. We asked our server if the fried option for the dumplings $2 surplus a crispy skirt would have, which he confirmed. When our order arrived, the dumplings were not crispy, there was no skirt and they just looked like as they had been passed through on a hot pan.

The dumplings are always fresh and delicious, and the service is incredible. You can tell the owners really care about their guests, their experience and how they enjoy their food. 10/10!

I really enjoyed the dumplings we ordered. One plate fried and one streamed. The veggie one fried was delish. And their homemade soya sauce mix is wonderful. Next time I think I will take the plate that they offered me, however funny it was to eat hovering over the serving bowls. And I suggested one improvement to the daughter family business...chili oil. She told me they had some in the back and to ask for it next time. I will definitely be back :

Ordered through uber eats, the dumplings were mushy due to lengthy delivery time, mostly burnt, and came with no dipping sauce… seriously? Noodles were also mushy overcooked and pretty bland. Won ton soup was just ok… overall not worth 68$ wont order again, much better places out there…

Really delicious dumplings: the filling is simply incredible. The service is quick and the guy who works there is so friendly - really creates an pleasant dining experience for customers! Vegan options are available and they even accommodated the wonton soup and made it vegan for me! Amazing!

The menu is affordable, and the staff was very kind. The place is low-key, the dumplings are OK but we had a good time for a quick dinner. Thanks Food: 4/5

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. Tang and his family are the sweetest and cook amazing dumplings fresh abs handmade. The atmosphere in this restaurant is so positive and welcoming. 10000/10 !!!!
