Pâtisserie Au Kouign Amann

Everything was delicious. My favorite was the almond croissant. Coffee was also good. Enjoyed watching the pastries being made.nnFeels like a neighborhood treasure.nnJudging by the foot traffic, has quite the following but not uncomfortably busy or crowded. Just steady.

It would've been a shame if they didn't do their namesake justice...but they absolutely knocked it out of the park! Excellent Kouign Amann with a crispy sweet exterior and flaky buttery interior. Would've loved to also try their croissants but they sell out quick!

First come walking into this place and it is so bright and dainty. Truthfully I didn’t order their specialty menu item. I went in for an Americano and a fresh Croissant. The croissant was flaky and just the right amount of chewy. There were only two tables and I felt a bit guilty taking up a table just for myself. So I took off a star just because it seems like a place where you grab and go your order. There is a lot of foot traffic and I over heard a lot of customers say that this was their favourite spot! I would go back and try their Kouign Amann. Next time!

8 years ago I stumbled into this Cafe accidentally and had one of the best desserts I had ever eaten. Now 8 years later I had the pleasure of eating it again. Nowhere else I have tried kouign amann comes close to the pastry here. Crackling, chewy crust, and an almost custardy soft inside. 10/10 would eat again. A must eat for any Montreal trip.

I loved the cozy vibe of this space. It was a pretty small cafe, two tables but I was able to get seating as most people came for take outs. The Koiugn Amann was so yummy!nnI really appreciated that the staff were so nice and patient to speak French slowly to me as they could tell I was trying to practice
