Lovely atmosphere, tasty bagel! What more can you ask for? The texture of the bagels here, and generally in Montreal, is very different from what we have in Toronto, and I love it here.nWe ordered the traditional bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese, as well as the all seeds bagel and rosemary and sea salt bagel.nnUpdate: We visited here again after our delightful first experience and tried out different bagel sandwiches this time. We also bought some bagels to take home. We ordered the Le Steak, Wow!, and Le Joe Bagel. All were very delicious, with the Le Steak being our favorite.
I was blown away by the sesame bagels here, absolutely delicious and so different from any other bagel I tried before! It didn't really need anything in it, in my opinion, and I regret getting a sandwich and not a plain cream cheese one. I was disappointed to learn that they only take cash or Canadian cards - as a tourist, this was the only place I ran into that gave us this issue, which made life a little harder... That said, it's a wonderful bagel that's worth spending the only cash I had with me on.
Non-Canadians: They do not accept foreign cards! Bring cash.nnDelicious bagels! Get the iconic salmon bagel. I love that they serve it with a lemon. A perfect citrus touch nnExpect a line. We waited about 20 minutes to get our bagels.
Amazing experience, great food and great service. Went on a Sunday and had to wait 30 minutes to get in but it was worth it. The bagels are amazing and having them on a sandwich was very good. There was a much shorter line if you wanted just a plain bagel. Once we got into the store and ordered it didn’t take long to get our food. It was really cool to see them making all the bagels in the oven and cutting up the dough.
Good bagels, but wish the sandwiches had a little bit more of a flavour punch. Waited about 20 minutes, though if you’re just getting plain bagels, you can skip the sandwich line.nnThe workers have a good, efficient system and communicate clearly to move people through.
