I've always had great experiences with OCCU. I went in and got signed up for a checking, savings, credit card and personal loan with a man named Desmond who was very helpful and explained everything very well. If it weren't for him suggesting signing up for the personal loan and credit card (I originally just wanted a secure credit card and was going to go elsewhere), I wouldn't have raised my credit score.

Terrible credit union. Our truck loan is through them, we've had insurance on the truck since day one, however they didn't have proof of that. So instead of calling us or calling our insurance agent, they just added on almost $200 to our truck payment. Then to top it off they don't even ask us if we'd like that money applied to the loan, or applied to the next several loan payments, or simply if we'd like our money put back into our account. Everytime we speak to anyone about anything it is always wrong, everytime, like they have no idea what they are doing. We will be switching it over to Mid Oregon credit union as soon as possible!!!

had a rough month and they refunded me some money to get my account squared up, they really help you if they can.

Refusal to work with me on a simple fee caused me to close out my long term accounts. Don't bank with these guys!! They are rude and charge fees for EVERYTHING. Save yourself a headache, (and money) go to Selco.
