Orangetheory Fitness is HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) studio that offers group personal training using the science of heart-rate based training.

Story

The physiological theory behind Orangetheory is known as excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). During the course of a session, you will perform focused 10-30 minute intervals that use your entire body and stimulate your metabolism. After each exercise, you will feel increased energy. After the session, your body will continue to burn more calories as it tries to recover from the strong bursts of activity.

Love Everything about Orangetheory Fitness West Springs! Mix of cardio and strength building. Love the incorporation of rowing machines. Treadmill blocks are more than just mindless running, always pushing personal boundaries. And the tracking and monitoring provides great gauge of what you just did. Every time I leave a class, I feel like I actually accomplished something. All around best workout class I have been to.

I love how varied it is so I don't get bored, but still keeps me in the zone. I have been getting both leaner, and stronger than I ever have been before.

So far, I've only completed 2 workouts but I really like the instructors. I also like:- the pump up music- clean facility- ease of parking- videos on big screen with weights demonstration and # of reps- opportunity to use elliptical or cycle instead of treadmills and rowing all the time.So far so good! Loving it. The two instructors I've had thus far have been superior to other gyms I have visited, so kudos to you guys for good hiring!- Stefanie

I love everything about the Orangetheory workouts...but, most especially, 3 key factors - 1. Never the same thing twice, keeps me from getting bored and lazy. 2. Feeding off the members energy and amazing spirit. And...1. MOST IMPORTANT - the coaches, especially Coach D. LOVE! XO

“Inviting location with high energy, personable and helpful staff. Workouts are quick & efficiient and incorporate all body parts. Lots of variety. Humbling and currenlty a “Love/Hate” relationship. Well worth it in time I am sure!
