Bretton Woods Hotel is a landmark in U.S. and world history. The International Monetary Found and the World Bank were established by an international meeting promote in 1944 there to promote a better world for all after the II Word War. This is a region with beautiful places to visit. Must visit all. The ski area is also very good, with very serious and professional instructors. The management of the ski school lacks the same level of professionalism and really needs improvement, to not be able to make reasonable judgment calls is a no go for anyone that wants to be in charge of anything... Besides that, the employees, professionals and hospitality professionals are top notch.

This is a beautiful historic hotel! The staff are professional, the setting is awe inspiring, the building is gorgeous. The food is delicious, (although over-priced by any standard) and the menus offer wonderfully surprising variety. My only regret was that our trip coincided with the “busy season” - the many many tourists passing through contrasted with the serenity of the location and luxurious nature of the hotel. A setting like this demands quiet in order to appreciate all it has to offer.

An amazing hotel that is rich in history. The views are worth staying here alone. Heated outdoor pool in the winter is an awesome experience. The lobby is breathtaking. There is even a haunted room here where you can stay in the original owners bed( over 100 years old). The cave is a must see bar/club with ties to prohibition. This is the place to stay, just be aware it is not cheap and it is a very old hotel. The rooms are not as big as modern rooms although the two bedroom version is spacious. But if you're spending too much time in your room, you're doing something wrong.

Definitely an experience staying there. Warm and inviting. Exceptional customer service. Couple of dining options, most outrageously expensive. I know this is a very upscale resort but more affordable dining options would be nice. Also possibly having a general store type thing open past 7pm. And please get more supportive pillows.

This hotel is the most beautiful one I've ever stayed in. Everything was immaculately cleaned and decorated. The scenic views are unparalleled. The indoor pool was quiet, clean, and fully stocked. The room was small, but we got the basic cheaper model. The customer service was phenomenal- the concierges were incredibly helpful, the bellhop carried our things to and from the car. Every member of the staff we talked to were helpful and encouraged our exploration of the hotel. The food was delicious but very expensive. There are many activities around the hotel, like yours, skiing, tubing, hiking, ice skating, you name it. Overall it was a fantastic, extensive stay at a historic site full of luxurious accommodations.
