Parking and check in were easy. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. It's titled a "continental" breakfast but didn't impress in any way. The rooms are clearly old and outdated. The only thing that would have me coming back is the price.

Basically clean enough. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. Would stay there again but not if I was trying to impress my date.

I'm extremely torn about how to rate this hotel. The staff is very friendly but the amenities are slightly lacking. The exterior is quite charming. Rustic and quaint. In the room, the bed and pillows are extremely comfortable. I swore I was going to figure out a way to take them home with me. The pool and fireplace in the game room were a great addition! It's really when you start inspecting the room where the problems arise. First, the rooms are very dated and could use some love. The walls are paper thin so, expect to hear your neighbors; if you are a light sleeper, thus could be a deal breaker. In the room that I received, the bathroom had some mildew on the walls and ceiling. Also, the water pressure was non - existent. The room was tiny but this could be considered cozy. I must reiterate how comfortable the bed was though! Overall, you get what you pay for with this motel. If you're on a tight budget, this is definitely a good place. It's inexpensive with little frills. Because of the walls and the bathroom, I'll most likely find other accommodations the next time I'm in the area.

The motel was close to the mountain we were skiing at, that being about the only positive of the motel. The customer service was lacking,(we booked a room for a lower price and we're charged for more expensive room, when we confronted the owner about our situation he was uncooperative and didn't offer or agree to a refund of the extra money.)

My husband and I like this place and have been here twice. The continental breakfast could be improved upon though, and the fireplace was not running.

Pro's:

-They have a nice, big yard with a small pond and a view of the mountains.
-They let you grill there.
-Rooms are clean and spacious for the price.
-The Lodge is nice and pretty.

Con's:

-They need much healthier options for the continental breakfast. There were no eggs or whole grain cereals. They could add some hot options and healthier options like oatmeal, bran cereal, yogurt, and fruit. Things like that. Also the coffee is REALLY bad and comes from a machine. It's not hard or expensive to simply have a fresh pot of coffee there.

-The fireplace was not going even though it's advertized on their website! We went around Thanksgiving and it would have been really nice if that had been going, especially after the fresh snow we had.
