Highland center is great for a slightly more modern outdoor experience. Great staff, good food and new buildings make it stand out. Joe dodge down the road (also AMC) provides a slightly more rustic feel.

The Highland Cented looked gorgeous. A truly resplendent building and spot at the top of Crawford Notch. Unfortunately for me, I wasn't staying for the night and the Narrow Gauge lot was not plowed, so I had to park 1/4 of a mile away to hike Avalon, Field and Tom.

This place is amazing. I bring my students every year and the staff is fantastic. Fabulous food, too.

Very barebones, small rooms, no wifi as far as I know, but very cozy and great customer service

Staff was friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating when I had car trouble and had to wait several hours for a tow truck.
