This is the most beautiful place I've ever stayed! You immediately feel like you're home when you walk in. The lodge is extremely clean and every detail about it was exceptional. The hosts make you feel completely taken care of. This place goes above and beyond to give you wonderful service. We stayed two nights but I wish we had more time. I definitely recommend at least 3-4 nights minimum. This is the escape you're looking for!

We found this place online, and decided to stay there for a short weekend getaway. From the moment we arrived, Michael was there to greet us. His hospitality quickly made us feel welcomed and at home. It's a nice quiet place to relax and unwind. Very comfortable rooms and excellent breakfasts. We will recommed it to our friends and family, and would absolutely come back again.

Just wanted to say a big thank you Michael and Carol for such a wonderful stay. You can't fault the service or accomodation and we would recommend the Bear Mountain Lodge to anyone that is taking a vacation to New Hampshire. On a side note, we would also recommend doing to the snow shoeing in the winter around the property. Just amazing!

My husband and I stayed at the Bear Mountain Lodge just after Christmas this year for two nights. After a busy holiday season it was so nice to get away for some relaxing time together. From the minute we arrived we felt very welcomed and cared for. Michael greeted us at the door and helped with luggage. There was a larger room that was not booked so he asked if he could upgrade us at no extra charge. We settled in and then went upstairs to the main room where they had a roaring, warm fire going and gorgeous views of the mountains. Carol came out and greeted us as well and we chatted for quite a while. We met some of the other guests as they came and went and joined us at the fire. It was so enjoyable we hardly noticed the passing of time. Soon it was time for dinner and since we know the area pretty well we knew already where we wanted to go. If people are unfamiliar with the area they should not hesitate to come since they are well taken care of by the innkeepers with suggestions, help with reservations and the like.
Inn is very clean, well maintained and the owners simply will do all it takes within reason to make people feel at home. Breakfasts are delicious, scenery is beautiful and restful. Ask about snowshoeing on property or other activities nearby. It is heavenly!

Very relaxing lodge with jacuzzi and privacy. Enjoyable with great restaurants. We went to Rosa Flamingo and loved the Italian food. Hope to come back again.
