Our waitress was super sweet! My 18 year old son hates pasta and was a bit upset to be there, but he was out voted by siblings. She helped him find some food that he would enjoy. The atmosphere feels quaint and authentic. The food is delicious! This location was clean. There was comfortable spacing between booths and tables. The restaurant was full, but didn't feel too crowded.
0 star if possible. The server really does make and break an experience. Our server was absolutely awful. I'll summarize some of her ridiculous actions. She brought me a soup with no liquid in it and when I asked her about it she said thats the way its always made, obviously a lie. She poured cheese on the guests.. twice. She was attempting to pour a refill, overfilled the cup and proceeded to pour the drink back out of the cup and straight into the pitcher.. germs and all. Shameful and disgusting. She spilled the drink on a coat while committing this despicable action without even breathing a word of apology. First time she asked if we were ok was after all the food was packed. We waited 30 minutes for breadsticks, meanwhile she had no idea we even ordered dessert. The kitchen wasn't innocent either. The lasagna served was stale on the edges as if it was sitting around and got reheated. Spending 135$ on a terrible experience really does leave a bad taste in your mouth. Please look into this.
The food was fine, the waitress was super ditzy to the point on making our experience quite humerus.
Our family visited OG last night, food was good but our waitress was great; very friendly and engaging. We had stuffed Asiago Tortellini Alfredo, Chicken Parmesan, and Tour of Italy as well as the soup/salad/breadsticks.
Our food was good. Our waitress was great. But the restaurant smelt funny like mold or mildew. Also, none of the 3 hostesses sat us at the table, they just pointed over in the vicinity and then went back to talking to each other.
I haven't been to OG in years, but figured I would try it. Had the eggplant parm with spaghetti. Loved the crispy eggplant breading and plenty of mozzarella. Salad and breadsticks were ok. Chianti was good, but I found a fruit fly in it at the end of the glass. Emma apologized and said she would show to her manager. That's where the night ended.
Everytime we go we have a wonderful experience! The staff is friendly and will actually chit chat with you and make you feel like friends catching up. The are wonderful at actually listening to you and making great recommendations.
When I first stepped into the entrance of the restaurant, I was greeted with relaxing music and a big smile from the host/hostess standing at a podium. He told me my party should be seated just around the corner and off I went to find my table. Just as soon as I sat down, a waitress showed up to take my order, as well as my partys'. All orders were taken quickly. All orders were delivered promptly and correctly. Refills were delivered without anyone dying of thirst. The waitress had a smile on her face every time she visited our table. To-go containers were handed out without delay. My take home order was fulfilled without any issues. Bills were distributed politely. Our waitress was such a great server and she made the experience a good one. She got a great tip!
Drink was wrong we didn't get bread sticks til about 30 min after seating and others around got bread plus salad then we got 2 sticks of bread with waitress saying I'll bring more and they will be hot.... maybe they too busy to focus on us it is veterans day ‍Food: 5/5
Stopped for lunch while in the area. Had their lunch potion Spaghetti in meat Sauce along with chicken and gnocchi soup. Both very delicious. I couldn't eat it all! If that was a light lunch portion I can't imagine how big the full portions are. Service was excellent. Since I was by myself, I was seated at the bar but didn't mind in the least.
