We had the best experience at The Deck! The wait was long but it was a Saturday night and we passed the time with a walk on the pier. The atmosphere was so fun with a live band singing and lots of dancing going on in the sand. Once seated, we ordered and got drinks and food quickly. The BBQ was fantastic as well as the kiddie frozen drinks! Definitely recommend for a fun night out with Amazing views of the lake!

I went to The Deck in July and August of this year several times. Let me tell you that it was some of the most delicious food I have ever eaten. The wings were juicy. The mac and cheese was creamy and yummy. The sauce for the fries was delicious. Try their frozen drinks, I like the strawberry daiquiris!! So sweet and great for summertime.  If you get put up at the top, the view is BEAUTIFUL! You have a perfect vantage point to see Lake Michigan. The music is a bit loud, but who am I to complain.  My only issue was the wait time, but that is really not something the staff can control. Just expect to wait 45 minutes to an hour and a half for seating. If you can, bring a book or something to do on your phone to eat up some time, or get there earlier than 5pm and the wait will be less. It is a really popular place for both tourists and locals alike, ESPECIALLY Friday-Sunday.

Well well well all I can say the vibe was just right and the food was amazing. Live band was truly phenomenal. Great atmosphere and our server was very polite and sweet. For a trip to Michigan I’m so happy that my friends brought me here

Beautiful setting. The hot chicken sandwich and wings were very good. The smoked White Fish dip was pretty bland without much smoked flavor. Well worth another visit.

I LOVE this place. The service here is always fantastic and is only beat by their amazing food. The portions for the price are incredible.  There are so many great options to choose from and great drinks.  This isn't just any restaurant-- it's a beach restaurant.  The Deck encapsulates that whole feeling.  There are swings overlooking the beach, multi-level decks for dining,  a couple pontoon boats turned into dining areas, games, beach chairs, and much more.  Throughout the summer they have music playing by live bands. Whether you live in the area, you are visiting, or even just passing through, you MUST stop here.

Upon arriving my group of friends and I noticed the place was packed.  I talked to the hostess and she gave me a 30 minute wait time which ended up being actually 10 minutes.  So far so good!  The location is beautiful and perfectly located at the beach by the pier.  The restaurant is well put together and seemed super cool with swings and chairs facing the live band in order to enjoy. Not only that but they also had available plenty of games throughout the restaurant.  The menu.  That was a hot mess and all over the place.  There doesn’t seem to be consistency throughout the menu which was difficult to follow.  It was just overwhelming.  Drinks and food.  I was so disappointed with both.  My frozen drink looked as if someone put slushy mix in a cup then dumped a bunch of alcohol on top.  It was spilling from how overfilled it was and didn’t taste like much.  In regards to the food I ordered a bowl which wasn’t awful but it was bland and for the price nothing spectacular.  The lettuce was old and the way the sauces were served in plastic containers seemed unnecessary.  Also the chip servings are excessive and it makes the plating look bad.  The band was fun and enjoyable.  Overall I think I would come back for the music.  Unfortunately the food and drinks didn’t leave a great impression.

The Deck has grown to be a pretty happening spot at Pere Marquette Beach! From a single level indoor/outdoor, to a multilevel, event filled extravaganza of live music, food, drink, and fun! There's something here for all ages at one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Worth the stop on a beautiful day or night!

Went here twice in one weekend. Allyson H and Bobby were awesome! The food was great and came out super fast. The atmosphere is unlike anywhere ive ever been and the live music was great. Lots of games and chairs in the back bar area for people dont want to dine in. Fun place!

Everyone loves to go out for a great meal. We rate the experience by service, quality of food, price, and choices on the menu. The first thing our server Brianna B. asked "Do you all want Heat? We did look cold being late morning and the first ones there on that cool wind-swept beach day. Of course, we replied ABOSOLUTELY! She went back inside, flipped a switch and Wahla.. HEAT..  Oh, the food was great too. BTW, we're coming back next year and bringing more of our cycling friends.

Absolutely an amazing restaurant. Would definitely recommend them if you're in the area.  Great drinks and customer service. Our server Zach was too cool.
