The folks at this camp ground bend over backwards to help and please everyone. We will stay there in the future with this happy bunch. You get a wave and a smile from everyone as they pass. The sites are huge and give one the feeling that they are actually camping. Lots of shade and trees and a beautiful beach are winners. The campground is being constantly upgraded while remains non-commercial. Thanks , people of Ojibwe First Nations.

Location good, bathrooms good...but it's an outhouse until 7am. Which would not be bad if it wasn't 200m away in the dark.
I bought a bundle of wood for $10. Which is expensive. The bundle was small and realized that it was still green when the wood was hissing sap while the wood I brought heated it.
My fire pit was actually a heap of rubble filled with metal garbage including a discarded oil filtre.
I booked a powered site and was initially given an unpowered lot.
Maps did not have outhouse listed and the roads are poorly marked.
This place needs to rethink what they are charging based on what I received.

This park appears to be on the Indian reservation and on your way to the park you see a huge unwelcoming sign saying "THIS IS INDIAN LAND". It's a large section of thin pine forest, along the lake that they turned into 500 (or a lot) of sites. in mid summer was probably 100 sites full of permanent residents in all sorts of hokey residences, surrounded my a hodge-podge of yard stuff. we drove through with our camper, and were driving really slowly, observing the culture and a group of resident picnicers yelled "SLOW DOWN" at us. Keep driving.
