This was a beautiful campground. The bathrooms were the cleanest camp latrines I'd ever experienced and the camp host Clarence was friendly and so much fun to talk to. I would suggest this campground to anyone heading to painted hills for a weekend or just looking for an escape from the city!

Awesome little campground. Nice spaces and lots of nature. The bathrooms were also very clean. Very close to the Painted Hills and surrounding. I would stay here again.

Decent option if you are traveling through the area to Eastern Oregon. Right at the top of Ochoco pass and a bit close to the road. Many of the spots are a bit sloped. Prices were $13 for all spots.

The area is very beautiful. There is no water though. My family and I escaped the heat at the lower elevations here while I was cycling through.

Had a great two night stay at this campground over the summer. Even though it is next to the highway it is very quiet. We were there over 4th of July weekend and it was only half full. Nice sites for both tents and trailers. There are two trailheads nearby, each about a mile north and south. Camp host was very friendly too and drove the firewood to us. Bathrooms clean too. Only downside is no water is available
