Hyatt House Bed And Breakfast

First off, this B&B is under new ownership as of 2014, so reviews older than that should be taken with a grain of salt. That said, this is a great spot located right in the heart of this quaint little town, and is walking distance from everything. The house itself is over 100 years old, and the current owners (absolutely lovely people with two adorable dogs) are doing everything they can to renovate it and make it over. You can see how far it has come along and they're doing a great job. The rooms are very nicely done, clean, and SAFE, as all have dead bolt locks. The beds and pillows are comfortable, which is great because I usually have to bring my own pillow when I stay away from my home. The bathroom is shared, but there's an extra half-bath with a sink and toilet, which I thought was nice. They also provide a nice fridge with an actual freezer (instead of a mini-fridge with a freezer compartment), which was great for storing food and snacks. Breakfast was Continental and had a great variety to choose from, and I was properly full afterwards. I can't wait to come back and see the house when it's finished. Highly recommended!

Stayed last night with my 9 year old daughter. As a single mom it is important to me to find safe places to stay when we travel. The Hyatt house is clean, and safe. The owner was friendly. The room was safe and clean with a deadbolt lock and individual key, we had a room with a private bathroom which was modern and clean. The bed was so comfortable my daughter and I got great sleep. There is a great restaurant down the street and a cute little town. Wonderful continental breakfast with good strong coffee and coco for the kids ;) Highly recommend staying here, looking forward to staying again. I will add pics to this post when I get home. Chris and Colleen are caring and friendly hosts. It is obvious how much hard work and attention to detail they have put into restoring this home. The rooms are spacious with antique additions and they have kept the historic charm throughout the home. The bed was amazingly comfortable and I slept beautifully every night. My room, the bathrooms, and the common spaces were always spotless. This B&B is truly a gem!

The beds are awesome, they are like a medium hard witch is probably the best bed type ever. The two little dogs are so loving and kind. A all along good place.

This is the nicest place I have ever stayed outside of a lodge at a National Park. It is grand old house and the rooms are clean, orderly and very nicely furnished. It was like staying at your grandmother's house in the guest bedroom furnished with her cherished possessions. There is nothing in this house that you would find at a Motel 6. I used to avoid staying overnight in Fossil. Now I will go out of my way to stay at the Hyatt House.
