Ocean Garden Restaurant

I've ordered from here a couple times, only because the food is decent. The service is so slow, we've ordered for delivery at 6:30pm, and they said 45 minutes to an hour, and we call at 8:30 and they say "another 15-30 minute wait" they didn't call to let us know or anything. If we hadn't called would they even have brought us our food? Pretty pathetic and this has happened multiple times. I understand it gets busy, but let your customers know at least, or tell us it will be a long wait.

I love this place! It's just simple, greasy spoon Chinese food. They have a great selection of vegetarian dishes. Our waitress, Sandy, was unbelievably helpful and explained some of the ingredients to us.

Best wonton soup ever. My husband and I come here a couple times a month and we're never disappointed with the food.

Have been in customer service for 50 years. There is no customer service here; the oldest male server there made us feel like we were an interruption to his precious time; when I asked for a sauce he ran off before I could ask for a glass of water. When he came back with the sauce & I asked for water he looked at me impatiently & said "Will there be anything else?" While we awaited our food, 2 other parties came in - 1 an elderly man who asked for a certain table but was told no by our server who pointed to a nearby table. The gentleman started to sit down, changed his mind & left - I saw him get into his motorized wheelchair & go down the street. The other was 3 oriental ladies who sat down beside us. They had been looking at menus for lunch instead of dinner & were told by their lady server - no smile or courtesy from her - they'd pay an extra charge to order off that menu. Then they waited a long time to place their order & were looking perturbed. They got up & left. My hubby & I are in the tourism business in positions where we're asked for restaurant recommendations. Not only will we never eat here again - food was average - but we'll discourage tourists from eating here.
