This is a solid, no-frills spot for decently priced Middle Eastern food in the heart of the Loop. The location is tucked away at the back of a jewelry store; you order at the counter and they call out your name once the food is ready. I stopped by with a friend on a Saturday for lunch and there were only a few others there. We got Hummus as an appetizer, which came with 2 pieces of pita. The hummus was thick and earthy-- it was good, quality, and hit the spot. I also got the Kefta Kabob Sandwich, which was delicious: the meat was juicy and flavorful, the pita pocket warm and packed with veggies. The sauce was rich and earthy. I got a cup of Arabic Coffee too, which I wasn't a huge fan of at first but eventually grew to really like it. It was very bitter and concentrated with strong floral accents. We also shared a baklava, which was good: the texture was perfectly sticky and it was not overly sweet. The prices are pretty affordable, especially relative to the surrounding area: sandwiches and entrees are ~$7-15. The food is also very filling, so great value all around. Service at the counter was a little gruff, but generally nice and quick. I appreciated the simplicity of the place-- the ambience is not amazing, but I'd always rather have good food and affordable prices over incredible ambience. I'll definitely be back to try other menu items! — Price relative to peers: 5/5 Food: 4.5/5 Ambience: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Overall Value: 4.2/5
My boyfriend and I have been here many times, and the food is always fresh, delicious, and made with love. The people are super nice as well; easily one of our favorite spots and we stop here off the lake trail all the time. Hope it stays here for a very long time.
Wonderful Mediterranean good. Delicious and easy to order from. I had the beef kebab plate and falafel, both were excellent. The restaurant was in the same space as a jewelry store on wacker.
Literal hidden gem! I like to give out 5 star ratings but DO NOT take this one lightly. Employees are friendly, food is fresh & comes out instantly. Great value and fills you up. If you're having trouble finding it, yes it's in the back of a JEWELRY STORE
Food is amazing! Definitely delicious and fresh. Falafel is soso good and the spinach pie is out of this world Vegetarian options: Vegan and amazing Dietary restrictions: Can make your own plate
Hidden gem tucked inside of a jewelry store. Fair prices for quick, good food. Falafel and hummus were my personal favorites. The falafels were crisp, hot, with a perfectly soft interior. I recommend getting their daily special.
Fantastic shawarma! Great salads! Must stop by if you are in the area. Friendly staff and clean kitchen.Food: 5/5
First tier Arabic food and affordable too.
My office just ordered Oasis for the first time catering as well and we are all BLOWN AWAY by what just happened. The entire experience was amazing - from Sam/the employees to the food and everything in between. What a gem in the city! Can't wait to order again!!! Vegetarian options: Vegetarians are happy with their options! Dietary restrictions: Sam was very understanding and attentive to the dietary restrictions of some of my employees in the office!
Ok i almost passed this place up it is hidden inside of a jewelry store. 3 people were in front of me. They didn't know what they wanted, me either for that Matter. But on a chalk board in the middle of the floor it said lunch specials. Moroccan chicken. Ok I'll have that. No joke before i could get my receipt good the guy was handing me my food. I mean you talk about lightning fast and accurate customer service. Wow!! And the food was delicious and awesome. It came with rice potatoes and vegetables. Check this place out.
