My daughter was at OAA’s Kinderschool for almost 3 years and I can’t thank the staff enough for providing such a positive experience for her. The program is so engaging with arts integrated throughout the day. My daughter would come home and perform all the dance stories and songs that she participated in. She learned her letters and how to count through play-based exploration and developed strong communication skills.nnThe communication from staff is excellent with daily updates and pictures and the staff have a gentle way of making all the children feel loved and appreciated for who they are. My daughter still speaks so fondly of her teachers from OAA.nnI highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking for quality childcare for their toddler or preschooler. The facility is clean, modern, and spacious. They have a safe fenced outdoor play area and large studios to run, dance, and play in when the weather doesn’t co-operate! There are shows twice a year where families get to come to school and watch a short performance and celebrate with the school community. The shows are adorable and my daughter grew so much in her confidence to perform.nnI trust the staff and truly feel that they have the best interests of children in their hearts. My daughter is so lucky to have had such wonderful educators for her first school experience. Thank you OAA!
My daughter was enrolled in the summer camp, and she absolutely loved it! The staff is fantastic, and the teachers are lovely. They keep the kids entertained, the activities are super creative, and help them develop different skills. After the summer camp program, we enrolled her in the arts and crafts and musical theatre programs. My daughter is loving it
We couldn't be happier with our experience at Oakville Academy for the Arts!nMy 9-year-old daughter has been attending classes here competitive program, and the progress she's made is truly impressive….!nThe instructors are incredibly talented, patient, and passionate about what they do. They create a fun and supportive environment that encourages each student to shine.nMy daughter has enjoyed exploring different genres while building her skills and confidence.nThe teachers take the time to get to know their students, helping them grow. My daughter looks forward to every class and has made wonderful friends along the way.nIt's a FANTASTIC place where young dancers can thrive and develop a lifelong love for dance.
My two daughters have been experiencing recreational dance classes, after-school programs, and camps with OAA since 2021. It's visible that my girls developed great self confidence, positive personality, can- do attitude in OAA. The instructors are always encouraging and supporting. As the parent, I am also inspired by the dancers performance on stage every year. This year, both my daughters will join the competitive teams. I am grateful that we are part of OAA family and we are looking forward to observe growing of the kids.
We purchased a package of six dance lessons for our daughter, but unfortunately, she didn’t enjoy it. After two lessons, we asked for a refund, understanding that refunds might not be possible—and they indeed informed us that they don’t offer refunds, which is fair. However, the problem started when they continued charging us every month, even though we had only signed up for a single lesson package and never authorized any kind of recurring payment. This kind of approach feels exploitative and lacks transparency. Very disappointing experience.
