Oakland Tactical

Awesome gun shop, they always have the latest and the greatest everything, firearms and accessories at the lowest price locally. I purchased a suppressor through them and they couldn’t have made it any easier for me. Their staff is very educated on everything they sell and are more than happy to answer your questions. The husband/wife owner/operators are as friendly as can be and make you feel right at home wether your just browsing or making a purchase. This is my go to store for everything firearm related

I have purchased two guns from this store. The first purchase was an AR, and the sales rep was very professional and informative. Good price, good service, very impressed. My next purchase was ordered on-line, and although I do believe this store does care and wants to do the right thing, this is their weak spot. As a business owner, I know how communication is key. I can deal with any situation, such as a late delivery date, which isn't the stores fault, but I just want updates on the status. I received no order confirmation other than the receipt during time of purchase, and had to follow up a week later, being told I would be called when they had an actual order arrival date. I wasn't called, and had to call again. I even sent an email through the website, but no reply. The way communication is handled is crucial to whether I stay a customer with any business I deal with. The female who answers the phone could use a short course in customer service and professionalism. This store has, for its size, great selection and a knowledgeable staff. Prices were very competitive for the guns I purchased, and for now, will continue to use Oakland Tactical. But the online ordering and follow up process is in need of a some major tweaking.

Great gun shop with a lot of items in stock that other shops don't have. Staff if very helpful and knowledgeable, yet not pushy. I will defiantly be happy to visit and buy from them again.

Went into multiple shops for a handgun. No dealers had it in stock nor did any offer to order it. Called Oakland Tactical and they said they had it in stock. When I reviewed the handgun there were some options I did not like (My fault for not asking over phone). They offered to order it then and there for only a deposit. The gun arrived the next day and they called immediately. I picked it up the following day. The staff was knowledgeable and funny. Only they will get the funny part.

Excellent experience, customer service was great and friendly. They had the best prices on the items I bought. They also make the NFA process super easy.
