We went there around 11:40 on Saturday morning, no need to line up. Really cozy and clean environment with friendly staff. When they brought us the food, wow, it’s big portion. The waffle is really tasty, the duck is amazing, highly recommended! BTW, their bathroom is also super clean!

Cute little brunch spot with some fancy and fun options! They have the regular eggs Benny etc, but they are really known for their something and waffles! The waffles are made fresh to order, and the atmosphere was clean and inviting! Good service and good offerings!

The fried chicken was so well seasoned and tasty! And the salmon Benny was amazing, definitely recommend. The staff were nice, though they had their hands full during brunch time. Prepare to wait for 30 mins+ during brunch times!

Duck confit poutine was unique and creative and gushing with different flavours with every bite. The caramelized Korean pear in it took it to another level! Smoothies were pure delight. Chicken waffles are everything you could ever want. 10/10

Its such a perfect place for brunch! Everything exceeds expectations, the eggs are super soft and yolk was nice and runny just like i asked for. The little cute latte art made my day: Preordered 10 of the oso hot sauces two days before hand for my family and friends as gifts since they love it so much.

I had the chicken and waffles, and a coffee. Everything tasted great, huge portions and great value, and the servers were super friendly and attentive. 100% will go again and will recommend to friends.

I came to O'Somae about a month ago accidentally as another brunch place nearby had a super long wait, but I'm so thankful I did. It exceeded my expectations. The green tea latte was perfect and balanced with matcha and not overly sweet I asked for half sweet. I ordered the duck burger and when I received it, the serving side was bigger than expected. At first, I saw the duck with bone in and thought it'd be complicated to eat. I picked it up and the bone came right out surprisingly. So I ate it like a normal burger without having to deconstruct it. The meat was perfectly cooked and so juicy. The bread was really soft and fresh too. Service was excellent and quick. They offered suggestions and didn't rush my friend and I when deciding on our order and when we stayed to talk a bit after eating since it was a quieter weekday. They opened not too long ago, so try it out when indoor dining reopens before word gets out.

Every time I come here the staff at O’Somae give excellent service. It’s a beautiful restaurant with great food. Both the chicken and waffles and the duck and waffles are fantastic but anything on the menu is great. I’d love a drip coffee option but that’s my only small complaint. Love this place.

Great brunch spot! Love the atmosphere and food, simple and effective brunch menu, try the duck benny, or add the pulled duck to any breakfast- it is delicious! Beet the berries smoothie is awesome. Highly recommend this b’fast spot.
