This is a lovely petite place, perfect for brunch and it’s got some cool vibes going on. The servers are nice and the kitchen service was fast. I liked our orders but somehow I felt like something was missing. Both the plates that we asked for felt more like a sharing plate rather than a full plate for one person. The pancakes were good but they don’t look the same as they show them on Instagram. They had a lot less pistachios than I was actually looking for. They were also a bit raw on the inside, and flavor wise they were good. I love a good twist on the traditional pancakes. The menu is quite small and the items are very much on the cheap side. I’ll make sure to come back again and give Madame Levant another try, as it’s such a nice place to eat.
We're in the neighbourhood and walked by this spot multiple times and my partner got us a surprise reservation here this morning for brunch, and what a treat! We loved the food, service and ambiance. We ordered two items, and not only were both yummy - they gave pretty impressive portions of marquee ingredients per dish. Would highly recommend! Moreover, the brunch spots filled up fast so getting a reservation is a good bet.
Had a delicious breakfast. If you’re looking for brunch staples, I wouldn’t quite say it gives you a brunch satisfaction, but definitely a delicious breakfast. The falafels are absolutely delicious… probably the best I have ever had. The pancakes were yummy but a tad dry they taste like gluten free pancakes but the flavour is delicious—they have a nutty peanut butter like taste. The shakshuka was fresh and chunky, but very watery. Eggs seemed fried and then placed on top, which isn’t like I have normally had. The sujuk scrambled eggs were delicious and the Turkish coffee is a must have — although I wish they prepared table side they don’t.
The falafel and hummus plate was delicious; it was light and didn't have a bitter aftertaste. The halloumi came with a tasty dipping sauce, which made it even more delicious. Excellent location and good prices.
Amazing fresh and delicious brunch, and incredible service. The team here works like a well oiled machine, service was quick and always responsive to what we needed. Food was fantastic, maybe the best humus we’ve ever had! Get the ‘hot sauce’ on the side! Will definitely be returning again.
Brunch here is outstanding! We tried and loved the Sujuk scrambled, Lebneh with evoo, and Halawa pancakes. Service is great, online reservation system easy to use. Spacious outdoor dining. One of the best brunches in the city.
Stumbled on this place by accident, was in the area and it looked good. And holy moly looks are correct in this case. The drinks were delicious, and every plate was gorgeous and extremely tasty. The tabouli was my least favourite, but only because the hummus, cauliflower, and sausages were so outstanding. Will be coming back!!
Loved this place, the seating area is decorated beautifully and very spacious. Everyone was distanced and servers were lovely. Food caught me by surprise as it was both beautiful and delicious. Very lovely place. Traffic near the road is quiet and not a busy street so you can definitely enjoy the meal without yelling at eatchother haha
I've passed this place a number of times but never got around to trying it until this past weekend. I went on a Sunday for brunch. I strongly recommend you make reservations ahead of time. They had tables set up in front of the restaurant and some along the side of the street. The service was very good and friendly. We never felt neglected. There were 2 of us for brunch and we shared: • Sujuk Scrambled: beef sausages finished with pomegrsante molasses, 3 soft scramebld eggs, pita, side of hummus & olives • Halawa Pancakes: GF flour blend pancakes served with orange blossom tahini maple syrup & topped with pistachios and ward - this was my favourite! The pancakes were fluffy and I loved the orange blossom tahini maple syrup!! Can't wait to go back and try some of their other dishes.
I finally was able to try this place and what a wonderful experience it was. We had brunch on their patio. For brunch they have two lists to choose from: Levantine eggs which are egg dishes and brunch specials which have a middle eastern twist on classic brunch items. We had the sumac poached eggs, shakshouka, fatteh, halloum and jam toast and the halawa pancakes. All items tasted great and we would have again. The toast was a little too sweet for my taste. The pancakes were fantastic and very inventive. They have them in two sizes main and kids size so if you are not feeling like having a sweet dish as a main, you can try them out as a side. It was raining while we were there but they had the tables organized so people are sheltered under the umbrellas.
