Loved the interior design, decor, and atmosphere of this restaurant! There's a decent amount of space - a few small tables, some chairs with coffee tables and a higher barstool area. The presentation of the food was great and the portions were generous. The green curry chicken spaghetti was creamy, slightly sweet, had a light spice, and so flavourful - the curry coated the noodles very well and there was a good amount of chicken and vegetables. The basil pork rice was saucy and the basil was fried and crispy. Loved that half the rice was butterfly pea rice. Definitely coming back to try other items and some of the baked goods.
Cute little restaurant serving contemporary Thai fusion dishes, cafe drinks and desserts. Unique experience, would highly recommend if you crave an Asian palette. Very nice ambiance within the restaurant, with seating inside. Service excellent! Need to come back to try the desserts next time. Such a nice addition just on the border of Chinatown.
My go-to for their fresh tasting Pandan Coffee! They have a beautiful hidden patio in the summertime that is enclosed by the adjacent church. I thought this was a place for just really good Thai milk teas when it first opened, but I was pleasantly surprised by the food. The selection of dishes are unique in comparison to most Thai places in Toronto with their café approach. You can get things quite spicy on request. Meal portions are good but a tad bit pricey for everything. However, for the experience of sitting here, the price is worth the atmosphere.
cute cafe and been here a couple times, decided to come back and try the food. the mamasan curry was very sugary and the potatoes were very hard / raw. the jasmine tea with vanilla syrup just tasted like sweetened milk. the place is very cute and aesthetic but I probably won't make the trip to get the drinks and food. the Thai tea cookie also has faint Thai tea flavor. very cute place for vibes and some snacks but otherwise not a foodie favorite
This place had a very new, clean, and relaxed atmosphere. The vibes were really chill. I had the Massaman Beef which was packed with many different strange flavours which ended up working very well together. I think my favourite part was the blue rice since I’d never had it before. If you end up going, get a table in the back patio - it’s very peaceful back there and a perfect place chow down on some delicious Thai food.
Drinks: First Kiss: 1/5 tasted like children's strawberry/milky cough syrup Lychee Butterfly: 1/5 very sour and just odd flavor Coconut thai soup: 1/5 omg so so sweet, just ruined the whole dish. Masaman beef curry: 1/5 it was soo sweet, the beef was super dry, the potatoes were really undercooked, and the dish was slightly warm only as if they just reheated it. Yen Ta Fo: 2/5 sweet and sour notes were overwhelming, didn't taste too yummy, and small portion for the price. Tom Yum fried rice: 2.5/5 very sour taste, spice level was good, rice was freshly cooked, and generous portion of rice and jumbo shrimps. Overall, I do NOT recommend coming here to eat. We were going to buy dessert as well but after the weird food and drinks we were a little traumatized.
Decided to come in during lunchtime with my friend! We both saw this place on TikTok and knew we wanted to come visit! It wasn’t too busy, despite it being a holiday and I was able to park easily in front of the restaurant. All the drinks sounded super cool and yummy, I originally wanted the purple yam drink but it was only available starting May : maybe I’ll get it next time. I decided to go with First Kiss, it was with condensed milk and some strawberry jam on the bottom and butterfly pea it turned purple after mixing!. My friend got the coco-presso, which was coconut water and espresso. We got the massaman beef and the sticky piggy burger for our main dishes. The massaman beef was so tender and flavourful! I think I preferred that over the burger but the burger was delicious as well. It just fell apart more easily than a regular burger as it was made with a sticky rice bun rather than bread but nevertheless it was still yummy. The dish sauce had a bit of spice but the perfect amount and complimented it really well. We ended our meal with some mango sticky rice which was plated beautifully. We had a great time here and I would love to come again and try some of their other dishes.
This cafe located on Gerrard East Chinatown is a gem. Great food and drink selection. Try the Holy Basil Pork pinza and of course the Thai Milk tea. Can't wait to come back and try another type of drink and pinza
such a cute and quaint cafe in east chinatown. We tried the butterfly peach tea and pandan latte and both drinks were good! Really liked the atmosphere and interior of the cafe. Excited to come back next time to try their food and other drinks!
Got the mango and taro yam drink! It’s pretty good. Really spacious cafe with lots of seatings. They don’t offer their drinks in bags here only at the night markets.
