Shelly is an amazing stylist who spent so much time helping me upgrade my wardrobe. She listened to my concerns and was extremely patient while I tried on the styles she had pulled for me. Not once did I feel rushed, which was so kind considering the amount of time I was there. On top of that- she never made me feel uncomfortable when saying no to the things I didn’t quite love. I would absolutely do this experience again. Thank you so much Shelly!
Love Nordstrom all the time but especially today. Marisol helped me find several outfits for an upcoming business trip. She made my shopping experience fun and I found a lot to love! Bailey helped in the shoe department and she found the perfect pair of shoes to go with the new outfits. Nordstrom employees are what make shopping there an amazing experience. Thank you!!

I was shopping for shoes at this Nordstrom on Friday night before closing.There were three nicely dressed workers wondering around. I was making a gesture trying to get their attention, but it seemed like they were very busy talking to each other for a prolonged time. Then out of nowhere appeared Margaret-another worker who was helping 3 people simultaneously. She was very helpful and patient with me, making multiple trips to the shoe closet, till I got the right pair of Eileen Fishes. I am aware that Nordstrom customer service is not what it used to be some years ago and for that reason I don't shop there that often anymore. However workers like Margaret make me want to come back when i need another pair of shoes or other stuff at Nordstrom. Margaret, THANK YOU so much for being responsive. proactive, knowledgeable, and patient. I wish Nordstrom would have more workers like you.
My thanks to Brenda for helping me choose a nice fragrance for a holiday gift. She also wrapped them up for me in a tasteful colored paper and ribbon. Washington Square was a bright atmosphere after our area had a couple of sub freezing days.

This is a review for the tailoring services only. When I went to pick up my tailoring around 3:30 pm I ended up waiting a while because they were not completed. My claim ticket said it was promised at 10 am so it was unexpected that they would still be working on the items later in the afternoon. I understand if people are understaffed and perhaps need more time, but communication is key. An e-mail or text is not that difficult to let a customer know the schedule cannot be met. Two of the items turned out well, but one pant hem was a bit crooked so I am guessing this is the one they were rushing to finish.
My favorite department store in Portland! They sell my favorite candles Nest Candles. My favorite thing about coming to Nordstrom is visiting and chatting with the cosmetic employees. They are so sweet and if you ask them really sweetly, they love to give you some fantastic samples!
I love Nordstrom and been to a hand full of stores across the nation. Unfortunately, this is the closest location to me and from the multiple visits and money spent, this is the worst Nordstrom I have ever been to. Not to mention it’s like walking into Sears in the 90’s, super outdated compare to other locations. The men’s department has the worst employees! Rude, unhelpful, terrible attitude and lack of acknowledgement. The young male employees literally only cater to the white customers and congregate at the cash wrap just talking. If you are brown skin, forget trying to get any help. If I can get the same product from another retailer, I do and leave this store because of their terrible employees.
