I dont live here, but needed a semi-emergent eye exam for my wife who needed contacts. Since we were going in anyways I elected to go for an eye exam as well (two birds with one stone and all that). I called in to book an appointment and the lady who answered right off the bat was just off, her tone was impatient, loud and abrupt. I didn't think much of it and really just wanted to get it done. We arrived at the store and WOW. The same lady was there and became abrasive and defensive when we had questions about the pricing and insurance coverage. She was dismissive and consistently talked over us and interrupted. Her customer service skills were lacking to say the least - sadly I truly believe she is oblivious to her tone and attitude. Looks like she has been there a long time and due to her seniority her presence is simply tolerated. She also tried to upsell us and insist that a digital retinal exam was standard of care during a visit. Which certainly is not the case. Sadly you are only as good as your worst employee. I cancelled my appointment and only went through with my wife's due to her urgent need of contacts. I have reached out to corporate via email to give them feedback about this particular employee and our experience at this store.

By far the best experience I've ever had selecting and ordering new glasses. They have a huge selection and help you identify and choose your favorite pair. Louis was a phenomenal glasses guide and helped me understand my prescription and what type of lenses would work best.

I recieved a contact lens exam from these folks. They took there time, we tried several types of lenses to find what I wanted. It was the best I I have ever been treated.

Everyone was extremely helpful and the selection of frames was great! I had to end up getting my prescription modified after my initial exam and they were quick and very accommodating with all of my questions and problems. Love the new Washington Square Too location, as well!

Louis is on top of all of it! Vision works would be lost without him. The eye Dr. was great and so was her Assistant. Fast and efficient for eye appointment and picking new glasses out. They were also VERY helpful in figuring out insurance and finances.
