Great food, ambiance and service. They should have more choices of wines! The tasting menu is $60 for two which is very reasonable. Lots of flavour! The best Ethiopian in town. Perfect place for a date!

Food is amazing. We go for dinner once or twice a month and we always get first class service. It is a busy place so I recommend reserving ahead of time. Good for a small or big group. They do take outs too. The place looks great. Cosy and elegant. It is a bit $$ but the food and the service is worth It.

Best Ethiopian in Montreal. Don't bother going anywhere else for Ethiopian...it definately won't be as hood as here. My wife and I go to Nil Bleu every couple months & also get it delivered to our home every month. My wife is a vegetarian & I'm a carnivore so the options on the menu are perfect for both out diets. The staff are fine and leave you alone most of the time which is nice. Love this place!

A wonderful experience. We went for the couple's taster menu, which included an appetizer taster, main course taster, and honey wine digestive for $60. First time with Etheopian food, and enjoyed every morsel. The setting is also nice, with zebra-striped chairs and intimate lighting.

VERY DISAPPOINTED. It USED to be my favorite restaurant, hence I booked it for my birthday. My reservation was on a Monday night for 9PM. Once we arrived at the restaurant, it was CLOSING DOWN. We were very surprised, especially by the unprofessional and rude treatment we have received from the manager, mentioning: "SOMETHING CAME UP IN THE KITCHEN". We were not offered an apology or an explanation and it did ruin my birthday night, as we had to take an Uber to several places, desperately trying to find a restaurant that is open on Mondays and after 9:15 PM. We can all understand that unexpected events can happen - therefore a restaurant has managers who can communicate accordingly with his guests, but it's not the case at Le Nil Bleu and I am not giving my $ to rude people, even though the food is good.
