Arepera Du Plateau

Personally, I found my meal to be delicious. The meat was perfect and the sauces complimented it all. To be fair though, it was my first experience trying arepas, so I have little to compare them with. Luckily the friend I was with had lots to say as a native Venezuelan. According to her, the portions were generous compared to most places and it tasted like a meal from back home. Also, the staff and owner seemed to be very nice and welcoming. I would definitely return next time I am in Montreal.

this food is perfect for if your drunk because its greasy enough to satisfy but its not hard on your stomach. the beef was absolutely delicious and i remember it tasting like really fantastic tomato sauce. they also had fresh guava juice which is a massive bonus. if your out bar hopping in Montreal, treat yourself and eat here

These areperas are so good and fairly priced. I got the black beans and plantains one and cassava sticks for a side and I was pleased with it. The guava juice is amazing. They have vegetarian and vegan options which is awesome. I haven't tried myself (both sauces have eggs in it) but the avocado sauce on the table is supposed to be really good as well. The service was very good and friendly. The whole place is nicely decorated and has a nice vibe. Can't wait to go back to get another warm arepera.

Some of the waitress speak Spanish in case you miss your mother language. The music playing there is, of course, Latina. The food is very good, specially the beans. The place is cozy and nearby the bus stop.

My arepas sandwich was very good (and the avocado sauce is incredible!), but i really did not like the fried plantains. Service was good too! Second visit edit: Good food, bad table service. Lost one star.
