We were definitely looking forward to coming here on our trip. And although the decor was absolutely beautiful, the experience as a whole was quite underwhelming. The staff were curt, the drinks were not the greatest and a tad overpriced. The whole process of trying to get a reservation at this bar was also quite confusing. My friend had asked for a recommendation for a sweet drink and the drink she was told to try was not even the least bit sweet. Glad we went for the vibe, but was a bit of a disappointment.

Stopped by for drinks over the weekend. Reminds me of Big Trouble in Toronto with the red lanterns decor. Music was pretty good that night but circulation is terrible and it's very stuffy even when not at full capacity. The drinks were pretty good and recently priced given its location.

When entering this speakeasy through the ornate golden door, you will truly feel transported to another world; an exotic yet cozy one at that. From the lanterns covering the ceiling, to the deep house music & fun cocktails, the vibes at Nhậu bar are 10/10

the manager is so rude and disrespectful. our table was shaky, and when our shell drink came, it spilled onto my lap because the table tilted and it was filled to the brim. we asked the waiter for napkins and to change to another table, and when the manager came over, he asked us if the table was shaky to which we said yes and then violently SHOOK the table, absolutely disregarding all the liquids on it, causing more of the drink to spill onto me! and then he just walked away without any apology. our interactions with the other staff were also rather unpleasant, except for one really kind waitress whose name i didn't quite catch except that it started with an M. otherwise, the drink was nice and the decor is pretty.

Great drinks, cosy vibes! My date and I ordered the salmon tartare and the mahi mahi ceviche - their own twist with pineapple old fashioned was delicious , I wasn’t blown away with their tapas offerings however.

Amazing vibe, friendly staff, delicious drinks and food with a few vegan and vegetarian options. I was just a bit disappointed with the shell drink it did not look like the pictures… and was way overpriced with barely any alcohol

Drinks: loved the Nhau Shell did not taste too alchohol-y, huge portion to share, very original drinks, other drinks were okay Ambiance: ambiance is 1000% there, love the lanterns just wonder how often they are cleaned lol. The music selection is on point too, loved seeing the change of ambiance towards 22h30 when it went from chill bar vibes to hyped up mini club vibes Service: service is okay, staff was friendly and respectful Ladies' bathroom: wished they put in more efforts in that bathroom, one of the toilets were broken and poop was floating in there and the other one had a broken door please fix this

Came here on a Thursday night with some co-workers. Music is good , drink is good, and super fun vibe, small place and they have a DJ, I’m impressed. It’s been a very long time since I can sit down, have a drink with good music like no pandemic out there. The menu makes me miss Vietnam so much, good job you guys. It’s really hard to feel safe for a small bar in the basement with covid restrictions, so we have to leave early since people keep coming in and around 10P.M they have smoke in the space, too. The distance is close. I will be back for sure when the covid less serious. I gave 4stars because I don’t feel safe with the distance, sorry.

We went on a Friday night around 9pm, rather easy to find seats. the place turns into a club they remove the bar chairs at 11pm or midnight, I don't rmb exactly. And the place became more crowded gradually. But that night overall was a pretty chill night for the place. As someone who is always exploring bars, I found this one not adequate for my taste. Cocktails on average $15, which is on the medium/high pricing scale, but the drinks were not impressive for that price, some were even pre-made in a small bottle, convenient for the bartenders but the experience for customer is very minimized, not to mention they don't even come with garnish. I would not pay 15 bucks for a pre-made-no-garnish drink. Music was good, live dj, service is to the point and fast. Overall, as a bar the experience for drinks are the most important for me and I found it disappointing. I will not go again, but if you just want to try it, you should still go and judge by yourself! :

So I usually love coming here... but tonight something quite unfortunate happened, the bouncer made a racist comment to my friend, claiming that because she is Asian that she should only date Asians..... It was very random, not sure if this was a joke, but we were very taken aback. We definitely won't be returning anytime soon.
