Love love love Sauvage. The venue has awesome vibes but the food is what brings me there. I’ve now had almost everything on the menu and love everything Chef Sary Hussein has created. Definitely recommended!
Celebrated an amazing 30th Birthday here. Beautiful drinks, beautiful service, beautiful people. Especially big shout out to Roberto. We had the best night and will 1000% return.
I really enjoyed my time here. I initially decided to sit outside but then I wasn't vibing the wind and requested to change tables to go inside, they had great customer service they did not make a big deal out of anything. They have an excellent drink menu and Cocktails, great Vibe and DJ, friendly waitresses. The food came fairly quick. Great menu honestly it was a really good time and I highly recommend it for someone coming from out of town. I guess parking would be the only Annoying Thing but there is an indigo pay parking nearby. I will definitely come back. The lamb was amazing, octopus was very well done, fattoush was delicious... and they had fried smelts!
Service was great. We had a new server, can't remember her name, but she was quite attentive. The food definitely does not match it's price point. The octopus was quite cold. The burrata presentation was a little messy, & a better choice of bread is needed soggy. The calamari was nice though. Ambiance was more a 3.5, as we were sat beside the door which was very cold & required to leave our winter coats at the door.
My bill was 100$ for lamb chops and mashed potatoes and a drink. Money is not an issue unless the food is tasteless, not filling and just point blank disgusting. I go to a lot of restaurants. This one was on my list to try and let me tell you I won’t be going again. Service is fine but THE FOOD big ZERO
Savage amount of fun was had! The food was quite good. I’m a vegetarian and thought that the options would be underwhelming but was pleasantly surprised by a phenomenal risotto. Then after dinner came the fun, great DJs, amazing staff on point with bottle service and a good crowd! Highly recommend! Vegetarian options: As above the risotto was phenomenal!
Really good drinks, decent food, overpriced, extremely slow service, nice decor but absolutely disgusted with one of the waiters who was all touchy and over a girl in our table, unprofessional, disrespectful and a terrible image for any establishment, won’t be back, won’t recommend it and the manager should be more careful with the waiters attitude towards clients. Apart from the really nice decor there aren’t many positives about sauvage.
When I choose the spot I did so considering the food of the regular menu. When I made the reservation it didn’t mention that a group menu would be imposed I was aware at 5:30 , had no other reservation so went with it . I am maybe realizing , that this might be a new policy, based on the reviews I’ve read so far . Poor service staff was nice I admit to arriving late , impossible to find parking , we were told to order , and told at 3 instances that we had to leave by 9 pm due to other reservation, with not much ppl in the venue. We were imposed a group menu where the choice were very limited. We tried requesting other thing from the regular menu , but were declined. Also, due to time restrictions, some of the group had one service , had to have desert to go … group spent about 600$ on a basic group menu that would cost less at a rotisserie. Rushed and pressed , it was not the experience I had hope for or expected. Nonetheless we tipped .
Didnt like this place, the decor was nice but it was way way way too over priced for what you get.. like illogically overpriced. I completely understand that its a very fancy place however the waitress could have spoken to us in a nicer tone considering every bill would be over $100. The vibe wasn’t it for me..i did like the decor tho
Good music. Terrible customer service. We ordered a bottle of grey goose, ciroc, and 2 veuves. In the end, we paid for the ciroc and 2 champagnes because different people in our group were paying for different bottles but we didn’t drink one bottle of veuve although we paid for it. So we asked the bottle girl and the owner if we they could simply take the money we used to pay the champagne we didn’t open and use it for the grey goose instead and we’d pay whatever the difference was. And just to add, it’s not our first time here. A lot of the staff have become close to us. So it’s not like we’re strangers to this place or we’d never come back. As someone who worked in nightlife, in clubs, as a bottle girl, as a waitress, as a bartender, a request like this in and place like this, should be no problem. But it was a whole ordeal for these guys. They would rather make $250 now than keep lifelong customers. Needless to say, it’ll be our last time here. Montreal has such a great nightlife, its best not to waste it here.
