Beijing Garden Buffet

Seen a lot of negative reviews took a chance absolutely glad I did customer service amazing and food looks and smells even better straight Bustin!!!! and you can also order online which i love this will be my forever go to spot for sure thank you so much for delicious food!!!!

I used to go here all the time in the 90s and 2000s and it was one of the premier places to get Asian cuisine in Kingston. I still remember the huge Chinese-style roof, the dragon pillars, and the large red doors. The inside was just as stunning. I tried sushi for the first time there in 1998 and have been hooked since. Last time I went, they had 12 packs of beer stacked on what used to be the buffet table. If they’re not doing the buffet anymore, they should get rid of it and put more tables and chairs in its place. It’s still a decent place to eat, but I hope they can make some aesthetic and culinary changes to get it back to its former greatness.

Of the Asian restaurants in this area, it is best overall for employee friendliness, taste, freshness and price. I have specified a few times to leave an ingredient out, and most of the time it is still added most likely due to language barrier and people being creatures of habit. However, I feel it is worth it due to food freshness, taste and price, I most often just remove the ingredient.

When we came in their fish tank at the front door was flooded on the floor. They still have Styrofoam plates and plastic forks. Very dimly lit. But very good foodFood: 4/5

Customers can walk in to place an order from the menu however if you choose to eat in the food is served on styraphome plates, cups and utensils. That was a major turn off for me. The aquariums in the restaurant are merky and cloudy,, you can hardly see the poor fish! There is no buffet and no hot tea. By the way, I was informed by a family member that he was asked to leave the restaurant a few years back because he kept going to the buffet table. Isn't that the purpose of an all you can eat buffet??? If he had told me this before we sat down to eat I wouldn't have eaten there with or without having a coupon. Another thing that I will mention is that I came in to pick up soup and was paying with a credit card. I was told that the amount ordered was too low and that I should order something more to meet "their" required amount of sale. I think this place needs a major overhaul or else they should go back to their own country to earn a living. The next time my family would like to have Chinese food we will go to the Peking Chef!

I thought it was relatively authentic, considering I haven't found any other Chinese restaurant I enjoy in the area. I only ordered delivery, so I can't speak to the service or interior. Mai fun and udon noodles had lots of meat and veggies, I was impressed. The shu mai's were ok, but the dipping sauce was authentic. I liked the desserts too. The beef buns I didn't expect to be fried, but were still tasty. I'll definitely order again

Just doesn’t taste right, rice was undercooked and everything was just not good. Cheese wontons were soggy. Not worth the money

The worst food I have ever eaten. Took one bite of the dumplings and threw the rest in the trash.
