Story

The Nepean Museum is a space where kids and families can learn and explore together. The exhibition gallery showcases Nepean’s history through a series of changing exhibits. With many fun hands-on events, programs and exhibitions, you will find lots to discover together.

Fairfields Heritage House is a 19th century Gothic Revival farm house that offers guided tours (by reservation), as well as special programs and events for families.

It is a very local and limited museum, but interesting enough for a brief visit. 1 hour is enough to see everything about the past. Some local objects which may not be interesting, but give some idea of historical lifestyle of years past.
Great place to learn the history of the area and intersting facts. Small and well done place!
It's quite small but we always have a good time when going with the family. The City View Community Association knows how to have a great family oriented day!
A strange but informative place. That's stood the test of time. Only issue really is the museum is tiny and u don't need even an hour to experience it.
Unfortunately this gem is down a sidestreet. Well staffed with helpful people. Seems always more staff than clients. Most people in West End Ottawa do not even know it exidts! Carry over from when Nepean city. Few visitors I supect if attendance checked
I planned to visit this museum but they were close! The working hours and days in the website are not updated.
The museum is neat and the meeting room is just the right size for our group.
Nice place for ppl from Nepean lots of history from those days!
The displays are of more interest to those who grow up in the former city of Nepean. Especially interesting to local history buffs.
