Seven days later and the specialty fresh confection item for which I paid Fed Ex shipping is still not here. This was a very particular birthday gift which I cannot easily substitute. If NM offers very unusual items, they should support that side of their business with a clearer notice at the time of PAYMENT that the delivery may be unusually slow despite a higher shipping charge. Very disappointing.

So I bought 2 dresses at Neiman Marcus for my son's wedding and Anna in Dresses was great.She was helpful accommodating informative and I ended up with 2 great dresses for the wedding. If that was the end of the story this would be a 5 star rating. Unfortunately it doesn't end there. I needed to go back for alterations, First couldn't find a sales person, found some in another dept. who told me there are 2 people there and must be in the back.I trudge back to dresses, nope no one is there. She begrudgingly comes to help me. I explain I only need alterations but to my delight I see one of my dresses is on sale! I ask if she will honor the sale price and she says no she can't do that. I ask to see the manager and the manager explains, No, since I bought the dress more than 3 days ago. I'm a bit puzzled, I point out that tags are on the dress and I have the receipt and she says, No won't honor the sales price. I say, well what if I return the dress and buy the one on sale? The manager actually says, "Fine if that is how you want to be, I will honor the sales price this one time." I'm thinking really ??? Obviously this is not Noordstroms. Transactions completed, dresses to alterations, look around the store at shoes and get ready to leave. I have a bad hip and am waiting for a hip replacement and while I like to pretend I am fine, I know I limp especially when I am tired after shopping, that said, I don't realize Neiman Marcus closes at 7. As I am close to the exit, the Manager is there with keys in her hand and says you can't go out this door you need to go out the other exit. I apologize, since it is 7:03 and I ask where is the other exit. It is up the escalator and across the store. How do I get to valet parking (which I am now looking at thru the door). It is down another escalator, you will find it. OK, I say as I trudge up and out of the store, really you couldn't just unlock the door??? Last straw, I had someone pick up my dresses from alterations. They come back in that drycleaning plastic. I called and asked where is the dress bag that I dropped them off in? No idea never came down to alterations. After I bought 2 dresses, I was raving about the designer I found at Neiman Marcus and I would have to start shopping there more. Two weeks later I have changed my tune and if I can find it else where I will. I will buy on line if need be. They need some classes in customer service. I am not high maintenance and I worked in the service industry in college, so believe me I get it. I don't expect much but I don't like snotty and word of advice don't judge people walking into your store by what they are wearing, in Seattle you never know who you are talking to or how much money they have in the bank and everyone deserves to be treated with basic respect.

Literally just made a phone call because I found a beautiful blouse I wanted to buy the lady who I was speaking to was just so rude with such a huge attitude and kept mocking my questions I don’t even want to go here to shop anymore. I will definitely be taking the $500 I was going to spend somewhere else. For such a high end retailer that was really disappointing.

Dont Order From Them, you will never get what you ordered!!!!!!!! Probably one of the worst experiences I have had with a department store. Tried to purchase a pair of boots twice, only to find out that they were never going to be delivered. Twice!!! 1st time got an email message telling me the day that it was suppose to be delivered that the third party not longer was able to fill the order. ok . I went back to their web site two weeks later and saw the pair of boots again on their site and ordered them again with expediated shipping. the day of the deliver had come and not email nothing form Neiman Marcus. I called customer service and they said they would contact the seller and get back to me. later that day got an email telling me that the vendor would not be able to fullfill the order again. Even now after three weeks, the boots are still on their web site for sale. Wow!

Horrible Service! I had purchased a blow dryer, which cost 440$ with taxes, I did not like it. I thought I could return it, but no! Because it's been opened I could not return it, how ridiculous! I had to have tried to see if I like it or not, it does not make any sense to not allow a return because the item has been opened. Will never shop here again.
