NAPA AUTOPRO - Mécanique Ville-Émard

Now I understood why some people gave one star. I also had horrible experience here... My car got a problem and asked to install some parts. When I picked up my car, the guy said, "we installed the parts you asked, but we found another problem. You should replace a part and fix it." Indeed, when I received my car back, it was really hard to drive. We felt weird because the problem came all sudden right after we brought my car to this place. We doubted and brought my car to Canadian Tire to ask checking. ... What we found is "there was no problem on the part NAPA guy indicated, but oil is leaking because of over-tightened or somehow broken tube. That oil leaking causes similar symptom if there is a problem at the part NAPA guy indicated." Also the Canadian Tire service guy said "this is terrible work." Finally, my car was all fixed by Canadian Tire service with very reasonable costs (he didn't charge for diagnosis, just tube and oil cost) and works alright. This is just my guess, if I asked this place to fix a "problem" NAPA guy said, this guy may pretend to install a new part, or just install a part and charge me the cost, and then get a "new" used non-broken part from my car for future use. I don't care what other people evaluate this place, but I never use here again. Even it costs a little bit more, Canadian tire or dealer service department would be better....

Very bad service. The manager and a mechanic are liers. They changed my winter tires this spring and packed them back to my car. Just now in October I checked tires and found one tire was cut at the edge of a rim. Dishonest work. The manager then blamed me that I cut it myself at a sidewalk. I explained to him that tires stayed at my home and were not used. He refused to reimburse me the damage. Just escape this garage. Do not rely on their words.

Never go this shop!! They cheat me and put my life potentially in danger!!! Never go this place! I don't even want to give 1star!!! Horrible experience and I almost sue them!!!

Incompetent to the point of messing up a tire change job, cost me a new mag and had to get the job redone else where, owner is rude and a lire. This is as bad as it gets! Please avoid at all cost!
