Nanaimo Boxing Club

My son has ADHD and very little attention span so I was a little skeptical about my son trying boxing. Little did I know, they have a secret weapon. Jamie. He works with my son and all his 'squirel' moments. He doesn't get impatient, he doesn't get frustrated, he works with my son's unique needs, and helps him thrive. Not only does my son get rid of excess energy; he is learning discipline, he is learning ways to keep his body healthy and he is learning to respect himself. I couldn't be happier that we made this choice. Did I mention that he asks daily to go do boxing with Jamie now? Happy Mama over here!!

Was visiting Nanaimo from out of town. This boxing gym was one of the reason I stuck around the city for so long. Loved coming back and working out with the local guys. Such nice people. They are a blast to be around. Also, I was quite impressed with the activities they had going on for the kids! Montreal may be a boxing mecca, but the kids aren't having as much fun as with Barry and the guys at Nanaimo! Hats off - see you soon.
