Munson Creek Falls State Park

Great find off the road. Had never been to the falls before. It is a quick walk to the falls viewpoint, and well worth it. Fantastic views of Munson Creek, great time to visit in the fall. There was a bit of frost that added to the morning beauty of the falls.

We came on a family vacation to the coast and we really enjoyed Munson Creek Falls. It's more of a walk, so it's great for all ages. And it's only a 1/4 of a mile. The waterfall was very beautiful and the beauty along the trail is also a great part of the experience. I would recommend doing it if you're close.

Absolutely amazing old growth forest surrounding a path that leads up to the tallest waterfall in the Northwest. The waterfall itself is anything but spectacular, but is unique. The entire experience is well worth the 15 minute drive from Tillamook. I highly recommend going here!

Really short and easy hike to the base of the falls. However, adventurous souls can continue past the "trail closed" signs and climb up the waterfall for some awesome photographs and a good time. You can actually climb about 60% of the way up.

Follow the signs. (As you head in, after the short bridge you bear right.) Short hike for the family. No room for trailers/RVs. A tree fell near the end of the trail that keeps you from getting close, but the view you do get is stunning. Lots of moss covered trees rise high above the trail that follows the creek to the bottom of the fall. Where the trail ends, the greenery flows all the way up the ledge to the top. The falls are the most dramatic early in the season, but it's still worth it later on​, as it's not far from the highway. Great quick stop!
