Love this natural trail system. All the different ground types - pavement - perimeter trail, soft path and rustic nature trails for what ever level your fitness program on your phone is set for. Huge natural area with two lakes to sit and meditate by. Lots of benches made out of logs. You can easily spend the day here. Bring a snack or have a picnic.

This is a beautiful dog friendly park. Good sized park that has a 4 km perimeter trail. Very well maintained. There are dog and non dog areas but they make the signs very visible. There is an off-leash fenced area as well as a baseball diamond and sports area. There are a couple of lakes. Something for everyone

Trails are quite wide and easy to walk, run, or cycle on. Some trails that cut across the park are rocky, steep or include stairs, but several trails, especially the lakeside loop, are gentle and fairly leveled. The lake is very beautiful anytime of the year. It is possible to finish walking all the trails in 2 hrs, but you will have to walk over some trails again to reach an intersecting trail. Sadly I have seen several people with dogs go off trail into restricted areas of the woods. I hope more people will respect the park rules and the natural ecosystem there.

Beautiful walk in some amazing weather - Bailey really enjoyed it too. Nice and quiet, a lot of people coming her just to amble - really gives that sense of relaxation. Also the ‘Lost Lake’ is a beautiful sight. A dog park is attached just off to the aide and while it doesn’t look too big it’s definitely enough for my GS/Rottie mix to knock herself out after a few back and forth runs!

Favorite forest in the world. Nice and clean and HUGE. You can walk here for HOURS without taking the same path twice. Love walking here with an audiobook or a good friend. Just watch out for bears! I've seen a few.
