The new tennis court surface is terrible! Bounces are erratic and the squares slide slightly when you stop. Don't know when they put the new surface in, I've not been there for a number of years and I won't be going back!
They recently finished improving this park. The tennis courts now have a plastic tile surface so water drains easily. The fencing is all new. There are new LED flood lights installed. The basketball court has new rims, backboard, painted new lines and power washed the surface. The roller hockey area got new lines painted and new nets too I believe. I've lived in the area for over 15 years and this is the first time they spent this kind of cash to improve this area. Kudos to City of Coquitlam for this investment. The new changes look really great!
I absolutely love this park, I go here to play tennis and because there are 6 tennis courts more likely than not I have a spot to play. The floor is interesting and may take a bit to get used to but other than that great place!
Reservoir Park is a bit misleading. There ar a lot of tennis courts and a lovely view, but no trails or park. There is also a ton of garbage on the ground here. Unfortunate.
Even though we were there to let the kids out to run for a minute, not tennis, it was still a great park! And if you play tennis, courts looked great and werent full at noon on a saturday!!
Big sport court area for tennis which is neat but you can feel the floor shift a bit underfoot. Couple basket ball hoops/courts here and an area for Roller/Ball hockey. All nicely fenced in with high chainlink.
The tennis courts are top notch. When my girl and I go play tennis we always try here first for an open court
It's a good park. There are multiple tennis and basketball courts and there is also a lacrosse box. There are bright lights to illuminate the courts when it gets dark. The park has lots of parking. Despite the surrounding forest, there are no trails.
The picture that seems to come up is not at this park. The playground is at RC MacDonald elementary school up the street. The Hickey street Reservoir park has four tennis courts, two basketball courts, and a ball hockey court. They are all fenced in with a set of stairs that leed to a good sized parking lot. There are no washrooms. Courts do have lights that can be activated in the spring/summer.
Went to play basketball here. They have 2 full court hoops. Court is painted and concrete. Double rims = a tad higher. Average 3pt line.
