Everything is prepared fresh in front of you with plenty of options for customization. Portion sizes are generous - the regular sized burrito was much larger than I thought it would be! The prices are also very reasonable for what is offered. The staff were also efficient and served a long line of customers in a very efficient manner while providing great customer service the whole time. A great place to stop by for lunch during a break or a shopping trip at Uptown Mall.
Highlights: Vegan cheese available! I opted for a bowl as server could not tell is if burrito wrap was gf. My meal was in the range of: meh-to-ok. The flavours were there, but it was mostly a bowl of barely warm ingredients. As some ingredients were kind-of warm and some were cold, it didn't lend to evenly melted cheese, and this detracted from what could have been a greater experience. Our service was good; but sourcing vegan and gf suitability was a bit of work. Wish the build-your-own menu was a little more flexible. For example: it would be nice to substitute extra beans where no other protein is selected. Or extra rice, or some other veg. if onions and peppers are really just onions with a few peppers showing. Also, a mild salsa or even plain tomato salsa would be preferable to the options of hot or insanely hot sauce.
I’ve come to mucho for years and for roughly in the last year or so the burrito making skills vary so dramatically depending on which staff member you have making it. Some will put overwhelming amounts of certain toppings, sauces, and salsas. There are times where the burrito is basically a soup held together by a wrap. Mucho really needs to have a day or two where they show exactly the correct portions of what to put on a wrap. What customers appreciate is consistency. Aside from the lack of it, the rest is great, ingredients, friendly staff, and a great price that keeps us coming back regardless. Just please please get the consistency of the portions figured out, this is coming from myself and also many who have mentioned it to me while we have had your burritos time and time again. I’ll change my rating to a 5/5 the day my burrito is the same as the time before.
Highly recommended !! This is a good place for a lunch break or a full meal deal. Really good size portions and good delicious food ! I order a wrap mostly and it is fulfilling! Staff is friendly and good view of the mountains !
If you're gluten-free or celiac this place is pretty decent as they make it pretty easy to order gluten-free unlike other places that basically punish you for being unable to process gluten. Staff seems to be fairly friendly and know what they are doing. Up charging for guacamole is pretty lame but most places have a guacamole up charge anyway. Not to much else to say about it, It's fast food burritos and rice bowls so don't expect Micheline Star quality food.
My 1st time here. Menu above on digital screen with prices. I ordered my usual favourite burritos extra spicy with black beans & beef brisket. With pickle onions bell peppers, condiments in the wrap it was so flavorful to the bite. Price around $12.95. I had a can pop however not offered is hot beverages.
Burrito was okey However do not expect Kindness to the staff. smh…. It could be better idea make an order by mobile pick up instead of in person. at least, website doesn’t yelling to you.
Great food, and friendly staff. My only complaint is the eating area could be cleaner. Most of the tables had food on them from previous customers, and there was food on the floor under the tables.
The new girl at the counter starting wrapping my burrito right after taking my money without washing her hands or wearing gloves. She then wrapped my mucho burrito terribly. Pushed the burrito across the counter to me. Ingredients started falling out the bottom when I started eating. Usually this place is very good, but this orange haired girl seemed like she's never wrapped a burrito before and didn't think after touching a computer it would be gross to touch someone's food. Ew
I loved the burrito; it tasted like the ones I've had in Mexico, Colombia, and like the ones I make at home . The spiciness was as high as I had expected, but I'm sure you can add a sauce to make it as spicy as you want. I recommend this place.
