Really unique cool pool scene! Whirlpools and a big slide all indoors! Great fun for the kids and they have an elite swim team! Check them out and look in to getting the family deal! It's awesome
Such. Great pool for adults and kids. The kids pool is particularly great with a big slide, 0 depth entry and splash pad. The locker rooms are pretty old and small, but doesn't diminish a great community gem.
Mt. Scott Community Center is the best place to refresh my mind, enhance my motivation, and build my muscle strength all while having fun! The staff at the desk are so helpful, it amazes me. Assuring me I'm in the right place for all my ciricular activities. I can't hardly wait to go roller skating! Yes, they have a rink too!
We used to go to the pool pre covid. Today was the first time we tried to head back. We arrived around 10:30 am . Our 6 year old son approached the information counter very excited saying we were going swimming and an older women with short hair was very rude to him. Without much other interaction we got a snarky " there's no swimming for kids until 12:30 . Wherever you got the information was wrong ." Maybe she has other interactions prior to this that have assumed the pool was open for kids with the hours listed but it was over the top insensitive considering we didn't say much more than a sentence. Mind you pool hours are listed as open straight from Google . We would have accepted this information regardless and come back another weekend but the delivery was so turse and snarky it left a bad taste in our mouths. There was absolutely no need to be as rude as she was. We may be back again as the pool itself has always been a wonderful experience but how about you update hours or have staff be a bit more personable.
Awesome place, in the middle of all the chaos currently infecting Portland its a oases, sorta. Safe place to take kids. Safe , clean and healthy.
Terrible customer service, they take out my daughter from the wait list and they don't even offer a solution. I hope that this wasn't on purpose, however I was OK with being really difficult to find a space for classes. But taking my daughter out the list without a notice is another thing.
Amazing place to swim, just remember the rule of two to a lane usually split the lane and three or more circle. You may luck out and get a lane to yourself but if you dont please do not ignore incoming swimmers or choose a lane that is way out of your chosen pace or the pace of other swimmers. Just appreciate the space and be inclusive and be willing to have a short conversation with fellow swimmers, ignoring others or being territorial will not get you what you want here and the space is for everyone. Hopefully these simple rules and some courtesy will clear up the excess conflict that has been going on lately in this community shared space.
Very fun indoor pool! Waterslide, lap pool, pretty strong lazy river, rope swing, fun kiddie pool area with water feature and hot tub for the adults. Great place to spend a warm summer day! Reasonably priced too! For drop ins it is $4 for kids, $4.50 for teens & adults and $5.75 for adults. If you go M-F you can do family swim and open play swim back to back from 12-3:30.
best community center in pdx. great staff. cooler water & chlorine levels more skin friendly. there is a ton of parking in the rear.
A well-appointed community center with a pool, offering a wide range of classes and services. Located in beautiful Mt Scott Park. Really looking forward to the renovation and reopening in 2024.
