My 7-year old was craving a meat-ball sub so we stopped by the Fairview Mr. Sub location. The older male employee with a grey moustache came to the counter from the back when we walked in. I said we were going to use the washrooms first, only to find out they were vacant but locked. Obviously he knew the washrooms were locked and didn’t say anything or offer to open them! We ordered a meatball sub and I let my son pick his toppings. Like most 7-year olds, my son couldn’t make up his mind quickly regarding toppings so after 30 seconds the owner? said “Okay, you’re done “ and put the sub in the bag without any toppings! I should have walked out at this point but I wanted my son to have his sub. I see that many others had a similar experience at this location and likely with the same guy. I’ll never return and it’s time to retire you miserable, rude… Oh, and spare me the standard, programmed response that you’ve left for everybody else. It’s empty and meaningless when you keep getting the same complaints and you obviously don’t care to change your attitude. Move on to another career!
The staff intentionally over billed me for my sub. I ordered a classic and I was charged for a signature sub, about $2 more. I asked why I was over charged and they suggested that the price had increased and the display board was incorrect. I showed them the online price on my cell and the display board price was indeed correct. A refund of the over charge was given. Odd that they tried to mislead me. I will not eat at this Mr sub again.
I had never been to this location before, but recently went three times as its a convenient location for me. The customer service is TERRIBLE. The good news is, the customer service here was so bad that it inspired me to go to the grocery store, buy ingredients and make my own subway sandwich.
Came here to use $9.95 large sub combo coupon. Sub was made well but when he rang it in total came to $12.15 which is not accurate math - should have been $11.24. Asked him to look again but he told me the tax is higher. When I paid he took my cash in gloves, then handed me change with gloves and then handled my sub from the toaster after wearing the same gloves. I walked away and threw out the sub due to cross contamination. Overcharged and didn’t even get to eat. I will no longer be a Mr Sub customer.
Sub was cold. The older gentleman behind the counter was really miserable. I assume he's the owner. No eye contact, smile, just asked me " single or double cheese? Not a great experience for my favourite brand for subs . I guess I will try Firehouse Subs
I order a smoked meat sub and it barely had any smoked meat on it. The sub tasted like a veggie sub I had to look inside for the meat and it was like one slice on each half. I don't think I'll be going back here again.
Was originally missing a sub from a large pick up order. Phoned and was told the next time we're back we would get a free one. Went back 2 weeks later and spoke with the owner who knew nothing about this but honoured the free sub.
By far the worst customer service of any sub place I've ever been too. Not friendly at all and very very rude. Never again will I go to this mr sub location ever again .
I went to this one for convenience because I was picking up other food at Little Ceasars, I will not go back! I tried to walk in the store at 6:49pm, the doors were locked and the counter was completely cleaned out. The store closes at 7:00pm but clearly he closed much earlier than this to have everything cleaned and put away by 6:49! Not sure how often this happens but I figured the owner should know his staff is closing early! After all the other reviews I read, I definitely will not be a customer here.
To the Management, Please focus on the portioning of toppings. I had a meatball sub with all the toppings in it. But it barely had few toppings even those were just cornered at one side. Not really happy to see this!
