Mr Jerk

Wonderful experience coming here looking to have some jerk pork and curry chicken. Both served with a good helping of rice and peas. The curry chicken had more spicy heat than the pork but the pork was very tender and not very dry... just right! Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely will come again and would recommend this place to anyone wanting Caribbean food...

Mr. Jerk on Morningside is one of the best carribean restaurants in Scarborough. Theyre portions are great. They are NOT stingy on the ox tail gravy which taste AMAZING! The staff are nice and the food is just Bomb!! Ive been going here for over 10 years. Extra Ox tail on the chicken and rice is a must. Jerk pork is great as well!

Mr. Jerk had its original feel on the food now it is more Chinese dishes, but still the best in Scarborough running for over 25 years in the same location. A bit more pricey now than before. Plenty of parking and take out only.

I had their Curry chicken with , rice and peas plus spicy beef patty. . Love the patty they have . There curry chicken is really good too cant go wrong with ordering curry chicken late always stay good . They have really good jerk chicken too especially when its freshly made its so good .

I just love this place! Good food always hot n delicious! Employees are fantastic. Awesome Jamaican food! I drop in every time I go to TO or need a change!

Stopped by last night for a Chicken Roti for dinner, which I haven't had from here in a couple years and it was better than I remembered. Very large so I had left overs for lunch today and it was even better reheated. I will be thinking about this Roti until my next visit.... Yummy!!!!

8$ for a mini pea soup with 2 pieces of meat is not a deal. Good soup but the price should be cut in half.

Great place for yummy food great prices they have different lunch specials and dinner specials. My favourite is the chilli chicken!!!!

Dont know about the best, but if you want to try the worst jerk chicken. This is your place. Food is disgusting in every possible way, for $12 you get dried up stale jerk chicken 2 extra small piece by paying extra you get dried stale coleslaw, the worst you can ever have. If you value your money, and your taste buds PLEASE DONT GO HERE. My life’s worst place to get jerk chicken. HORRIBLE FOOD. PS- even my dog rejected the food LOL.

Their jerk chicken is so. Good. It's the taste that I look for when I think of jerk chicken. I've had jerk chicken from other restaurants that was nice but didn't contain the spices I'm used to and just seemed more like braised chicken. But mr. jerk's jerk chicken has the taste/spices i expect without being TOO spicy. I also like that it's not overly salty. The chicken is also moist in my experience. I'd recommend this restaurant. :
