Windies

The food is amazing, large portion, tasty and fresh. Big ups to Shaki rip, she makes the most amazing drinks. I would go there just for those drinks that she makes. And such a sweet soul. I will have to make a trip soon. But I won’t get my delicious Shaki drinks. I live in the west and I’d definitely travel to get some of their fried rice so. I do recommend this restaurant. They have lots of seating and good music as well.

Amazing food, fantastic music and great ambiance. Had an awesome time here. The food is absolutely delicious. As with all restaurants, including our grocery bills, the prices have gone up. That does not take away from the fact that it is a great spot to get amazing dishes and step away from your own kitchen once in a while. Highly recommend this spot and will be coming back for sure!

The food is great and very tasty ! You get a large serving, freshly prepared it is worth waiting for. What you recieve is worth the money you spend. The service was also very good, our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. You wont be disappointed stopping in for a meal.

Busy night atmosphere. DJ on Saturday nights, music is extremely loud. Good amount of people with more still coming later on. Adult clientele. Security at door. Busy wait staff not enough to be diligent to each table. Best to order at bar.

Very chill sports bar, staff was friendly and food and drinks were served quickly. Everything was delicious, especially the fried rice and pepper shrimp . Order to share; the portions are large, and we definitely had leftovers to tame home. There are lots of TVs and a billiard table. Needs change coins to play.

The waitress was super amazing, she truly took care of us. The place isn't the best in atmosphere, tho great service, it's like home. Make food is good, they make sure if u need anything Dietary restrictions: It's halal, beef and chicken

We ordered a tequila sunrise and it tasted like they had squeezed in the juice of a rotten orange in it. It was very pricey and totally not worth the money. Wouldn't recommend it.

I would think that for the wait time and the expensive food that the food will at least be a little bit good but no there was an extensive wait time and the food was not the greatest. The stirfry rice and jerk chicken was good but the curry chicken and white rice it taste like someone forgot the seasoning. I haven’t really tried their whole menu so I can’t really speak on everything else but the fact that it was so expensive and the food did not come out how it was supposed to I would not recommend.

{Visited - Thursday, Feb 23/17 at 7:30PM} First time at Windies upon recommendation from my friend. Also my first time going a West Indian Restaurant. Rather than choosing something from the menu we both had the Windies Special - Beef. Chicken. Shrimp. and Fried Chicken on top of Rice. For $11.00 the portion was more than worth it! Apparently the chicken wings are really good so I have to come back and try those :P Overall good experience :

HAD TO GO ACROSS THE STREET TO KFC TO GET FOOD FOR MY KIDS BEFORE GETTING MY ORDER!!!!!!!!! Went here for my dads birthday. Been here many times before but this time made sure I am never going back. We showed up at 5 didnt get to order until 6. I ordered the oxtail and was told half an hour later that there was none. By 730 i still had not received my food so i went to get kfc for my kids as they were starving and TRYING TO EAT KETCHUP!!!!! After asking 5 times the waiter brought the bartender over who was completely disgusting in her response. She even went as far as to say "thats not my problem" when i explained this situation to them. Never go here
