Patty Time

Quick, affordable and quality. I got a beef patty and chicken patty with orange juice. They were warm, crispy at the edges, warm and salty as you get to the middle. Not very crumbly. The beef was peppery; the chicken reminded me of creamy chicken pot pie. Good walking food for the park.

Fantastic little shop. Their menu is small: just oxtail or curry goat for meals and beef or chicken for patties. The oxtail was cooked perfectly tender and tasty. The rice and peas were slightly mushy, which is the way I like my rice and peas. The hot sauce, sadly, tastes like Frank’s. The patties had a nice thin dough and saucy filling in the beef one. The chicken was less saucy and slightly more spicy. There wasn’t a lot of filling, but the filling was more meaty and not pasty from breadcrumb fillers like some other patties I’ve tried. Overall, the dough to meat ratio was good. On the day I went, there was a sign limiting the purchase to 2 dozen patties.

One of the best places for patties in the city! The pastry is thin and crispy the edges are often too thick at some of the other places, and there's just the right amount of filling! Given how popular Patty Time is, it can get pretty busy, so potentially expect to wait in line.

Patties are good but there’s no option for spicy or mild. I wish it was spicier. I had to add my own spice as I was eating it. The ox tail/goat meal is good. The cucumbers are pickled, the rice is tasty and the meat is tender. Would order again.

BEST patty in the city. HOT, crispy, and tasty. No debate here, the store hours are all over the place but it makes it even better when you get it hahaha this is a must try!! Excellent price too, have with coco bread

Always a good time at "Patty Time" well worth the extra money for this delectable snack. Forgot to take a picture of their menu; I'll do that next time. They have chicken, beef and veggie patties. They don't open on Sundays and Mondays. I REPEAT THEY DON'T OPEN SUNDAY AND MONDAY!!! Bless :

My friend Rose took me for the best Jamaican beef patty I've ever had. We each box a dozen and as you can see we couldn't wait to get them in our bellies, delicious! I may have eaten 3. Hope they'll last the ride home back to the West end as I told someone I bought a dozen of them

Ive been eating at patty time for 16 years plus. I have been away for 5 years. Looks like there is new owners but the main baker is the same. The patties were a taste of heaven as usual. Im so impressed that this recipie has not changed in all this time. Had a beef, chicken and coco bread. It was so fresh and tasty. I cant wait to be back for a curry goat and more patties. Was disappointed to see no vegetable patties, am i mistaken or didn't you have veggie back in the day? Either way would recommend this place to any patty lover these are one of a kind consistent high quality.

This place is better than Randy's, Absolutely the best. Please note they run out of supplies by 2-3pm, so you better come early. The crust is super thing and extremely crunchy, the filly is rich with meat and beef sauces, extremely flavorful!! Tip their supplies run out by around 3ish so you gotta go early, and buy a dozen cuz you'll end up eating like 2-3 when getting them, and your friends and family will be cleaning it up quick. Update May 10th 2022: still delicious, high quality and flavourful patties. The crust is crispy and thin. Cant stop myself from coming back.

Their patties are not heavy on seasonings and spice, it is simple, comforting with a little zing. Flaky pastry goes well with beefy filling.Food: 4/5
