Great place to go for a quick bite or a full breakfast or lunch. I love the hot gouda turkey sandwich and soup combo. Their soups are made in house and are really good. The servers are very attentive.

When my mom comes into town to visit, and if it's early enough, we'll come here for breakfast. Their food is amazing and, in my opinion, the place itself is the epitome of Bellingham dining. Nice staff. But beware, this place gets busy quick on weekend mornings.

Best sausage link in town. Delectable daily specials. I can't imagine Bellingham without Mt. Bakery. Everything is satisfyingly on point.

I’m sitting in the Mt Bakery as I type this, and I have to say that I’m pretty unimpressed with what is happening around me.
One of our four breakfasts arrived a full 15 minutes before the others. It was either eat it before everyone else, or eat cold eggs when the rest arrived. I ate early.
Another of our four meals was their hot Turkey Gouda sandwich. But the melted cheese was hard and unmelted, they forgot to put all the ingredients on the sandwich, and it arrived as dry as a dusty fart. Exaggeration? No. We had to ask them to fix their mistake. They did so, without so much as “we’re sorry for our mistake and inconvenience”. Sigh.....
When they saw that I was going to use my Mt Bakery gift card, things got even more fun. They told the table that their computer system had been upgraded, and wouldn’t accept the green gift cards anymore. But apparently they’re going to work that out for us... I’m perplexed.
And JUST a few moments ago (this is no joke), a waitress blew her nose and then went directly out to wait a table.
A very disappointing experience with equally disappointing food. This place is off my list.
Contrary to other reviews, this restaurant certainly does not represent good dining in Bellingham. They are very proud of their food and service here. They shouldn’t be.

Had a great egg sandwich for b-fast. Nice staff. Yummy baked goods. (Your best option for such during the week when the farmers market is closed.)
