I love the bar and the mural on the ceiling. Potato burrito is always good, I like the chimichangas as well. People who complain it's not authentic Mexican should know that burritos and nachos are not Mexican. This is Tex-Mex food, and as far as I've seen, the most authentic Mexican in this town comes from taco trucks.

When they are on, they are awesome. The Poseidon or Rancho Deluxe are fabulous when they are on, when they aren't, they aren't. Consistency is not their strong suit, and the consistency is mostly low than good. And typical of many Bellingham establishments they make you feel like they are doing you a favor taking your money and serving mediocre food. Specifically, customer service is not a strong point. I'll go back, but it will be a while and I hope it is on one of their good days.

The prices are right and you get enough food to feed you twice over. Huge portions. Don't even think about ordering a large unless you're feeding an entire small island nation. The food is great, the prices are good, definitely a local hotspot.

Go here one time, order the potato burrito and a tequila flight or two, and your night will inevitably get better. Our absolute favorite watering hole that happens to have killer grub. The poppers are fresh and huge as well, and cannot be beat.

Although I can't fault how friendly and helpful the staff were, the food here was only ok. My wife and I ordered taquitos to share, but were dissapointed with how crispy they turned out to be. Atmosphere was pretty good, hopefully we'll visit again and try something different.
