Cafe Akroteri

They have the best gyros with handmade pita bread. $10.50 for a good pint of beer and a gyros. The bar is great to have a nice quiet lunch. The bartender is super nice and very busy so tip her well!

Delicious food. Seriously, the best dolmas I've EVER had in my life. Damn fine lamb gyros too. Service was lacking, but the food was excellent

We waited nearly 90 minutes to get our entrées, at which point they came out drastically undercooked. The server was friendly but incompetent and the kitchen seemed to be all but abandoned. The salad and bread were fine and came about 45 minutes after ordering, but I don't know what the main meal was like because we left without eating it. I hope for their sake this was just a bad night, because they won't survive otherwise.

Disappointing. This used to be my favorite restaurant in Bellingham. Tonight the Greek salad was the highlight. Our meals lacked flavor and lamb was dry. Baklava filling was yummy, but filo was dry. Service was fast, too fast, and somewhat inattentive, but friendly. A different wine was served than what was ordered. Whereas most downtown restaurants were bursting at the seams on a busy evening...sadly Cafe Akroteri was not...for obvious reasons.

Mediocre Americanized Greek food. Cheap but average drinks. Friendly service and not much of a wait.
