Motel 6 Rochester Mn

Been traveling across the u.s. with my wife heading to Chicago, needed a place a couple hours outside. Booked your room online not sure of the website, but the photos look good room look nice in the pictures. Get to the motel and you can tell that it's a bit of a sketchy place by the characters hanging around outside. Not going to judge a book by its cover except for the guy who got stabbed outside my door at 1 in the morning with the cops everywhere and the news crew, we didn't get much sleep. Room was decent, remote didn't work for the TV not a big deal. Night staff guy has a tattoo of a teardrop on his eye, nice guy good service from him. Would I stay there again not a chance. Would I recommend this place? If you're looking for a cheap Motel to have an affair or bring a hooker to or sling your drugs out of, this is it. If you're a family traveling across country and need a place for you and the kids don't stay here.

Was there for 3 nights, room smelled like urine. The heater was extremely loud. Burn holes on the bed spread. Housekeeping need to due a better job cleaning. There was a used piece of dental floss on the floor. And bathroom had hair all over the floor. I know it's motel 6 , but a little more effort in cleaning .

Cross country travelling... and needed something cheap. It wasn't the best place I've stayed, and certainly not the worst. My room didn't smell. That's my biggest pet peeve. Friendly staff. Ok price. Dog friendly.

No microwave or fridge but it is the cheapest place in town. Rooms are nice. Showers are really nice. Its worth the money.

Location was good. The room is what I expected. The bed was ok, but there was no fitted sheet it was a top sheet and it kept exposing the mattress. Yucky! The pillows would of been fine if it was just me but there was two of us and it would of been nice to of had two each. The towels um they were thin. The man who checked me in was really nice so was the cleaning man. The man at the front desk was rude when I asked for a later check out time. With all that said I appreciate the price.
